Sebastian Hernandez's Point of View:
"Its time to go," mom and Mrs. Rodriguez, I mean Olivia barged into the room.
Ria was still on my lap as I was busy wiping away her tears as she grew teary eyed from me confessing my love for her. I knew what I felt for her was love and I couldn't wait to prove it to her everyday.
"Aw how cute," mom smiled as she nudged Olivia.
"Cute and reckless," she laughed "can you imagine what would have happened if Carlos had walked in?"
"You'd wouldn't be leaving the hospital and I'd be down at the station"
I gulped at her words while Ria simply laughed and hopped off my lap. She gathered my things and stood beside me.
"You okay to walk out of here," she asked me.
I briefly looked over at my mom who was smiling in awe of Ria because of her question. Her mom nodded her head as a proud mama. Mom held up her thumbs in the thumbs up signal showing me that she approved of my choice. But I'm pretty sure she'd approve anyway since it's the daughter of her best friend.
"I'm good love, I can walk"
"We'll that's all we'll and dandy but you have to be escorted out while in a wheelchair," Dad said as he wheeled in with a wheelchair.
"You have got to be kidding me?" I groaned in annoyance.
"Are you just messing with me because it isn't funny?"
"Mess with you," he held a hand to his chest and gasped rather loudly "I would never do that"
I rolled my eyes at his dramatics, "do I have to sit in that thing or not?"
He sighed, "I'm sorry son but it's hospital rules you have to he wheeled out of here"
"I'm sure it'll be fine baby," Ria tried to comfort me which worked a little.
"Fuck! fine I'll sit in the damn thing"
"Language," mom swatted at the air around her.
"Sorry mom," I mumbled quietly.
"On second thought keep it coming, now I can get a swear jar and say it's practice for when the baby comes"
"But won't you get made if he swears all the time?" Olivia asked.
"Nope I'm gonna be rich off of them"
Olivia grinned, "this is why we are best friends"
Maybe our moms being best friends wasn't as great as we had thought, with the way their currently planning to bleed us dry. I just rolled my eyes at them. This should be interesting. I sat in the wheelchair and waved Ria over to me, I took the things she was holding from her and put them in my lap. It made no sense for her to carry them when I could.
"Where's Dad and the rest of the guys?" Ria questioned her mom.
"There bringing the cars around sweety"
"So who's going to push me out of here?" I looked around at everyone in the room.
"Can I do it?" Ria jumped on the spot excitedly.
"I'm glad to see one of us is happy about this," I muttered.
"Oh shush," Ria laughed "let's get out of here"
She took hold of the wheelchair and began to wheel me out of the building. Our parents followed suit and walked behind us. When we reached the receptionist area I looked over the counter and saw the receptionist glaring at me or was it Ria. I looked up at Ria to find her grinning happily at her and blew her a kiss. I just shook my head it seems Ria has some explaining to do. The woman looked like she would jump her.
We were finally at the entrance to the hospital and I couldn't be happier to be out of here. As soon as we crossed the threshold I was out of the wheelchair. I detested being in that thing it made me feel like I wasn't able to walk and that's not a good feeling.
As the cars pulled up I could see there were two cars here so we had to figure out who was going with you. I personally wanted to go with Ria and as I looked over at her I could tell that she was thinking the same thing. Michael came out of the Lamborghini while Jacob came our of his car.
"Okay so there's two cars and nine of us how is this going to go?" mom asked curiously.
"We live twenty minutes away from you guys," Ria piped in.
"We do?" mom grinned happily the same with Olivia "that's awesome"
"Rex can stay with us the night but Jacob should probably head home, don't want your mom to worry about you," he nodded at my suggestion.
"So mom, dad, Rex and I will take one car while Jacob, Ria, Michael and Ria's parents take another"
Ria pouted at what I said but she didn't object because she knew it was the most logical solution. It was way too early to be driving back and forth to different houses and we all needed sleep.
"Ain't no way my Lambo can hold five of us," Michael pointed out to us.
"We'll I guess we won't be leaving in the Lamborghini then," Olivia shrugged her shoulders.
"B-b-but," he stuttered looking between us and his car.
"You heard your mother," Carlos stated firmly leaving no room for discussion "no buts"
Michael huffed put a breath and folded his shoulders mumbling about how unfair this was. We all laughed at his childish antics.
Beinf the peacemaker that he was dad tried to placate him, "if it's any consolation, I'll let you drive my Urus sometime"
"Really?" he perked up.
Dad nodded and Michael looked at him in glee as if he hung the moon and the stars in the sky. It was hilarious how obsessed he was with Lamborghinis. I looked over at Ria who was currently saying goodbye to my parents. When she was finished I pulled her into a hug and held her tightly. It hurt to be away from her but I had to. It wasn't forever. I smirked when I saw that Carlos had covered his eyes when I pulled Ria to me. That man is really overprotective of her it's insane.
"I'm going to miss you"
"I'll miss you too but I'll see you soon," I tried to reassure her.
"I invited your mom over for a little barbecue later on today so we'll see you then," mom interjected trying to cheer Ria up.
"Oh I didn't know that, that's great," she grinned.
"I'll see you tomorrow then," she smiled as she kissed me on the cheek and walked over to her family and Rex.
They waved goodbye and walked over to the car. Michael had given dad the keys to his Lambo, he wanted him to drive and dad was a Lamborghini fan anyway. I didn't object and simply went to sit in the car. As much as I didn't want to admit it I was a tired and desperately needed some sleep.
Jacob sat in the back with me while mom and dad sat up front. He started the car which seemed to rumble as it was brought to live. I love the sound a engine makes when you start it up. I looked through the window and saw that the car Ria was in drove away.
Dad followed suit and we were finally headed home. My eyes started to feel heavy as I watched the world pass by.
"You good?" Jacob nudged me.
"Yeah I'm just tired"
"Get some rest man I'll wake you when we get there"
I nodded and closed my eyes and I was quickly pulled into a deep sleep.
