Blood Vine Warriors all originate from the back mountain of the Yasenman Tribe, which the Yasenman Tribe calls the holy land and is where a certain ritual can be performed.
If the ritual is completely successful, it creates a Blood Vine Warrior like Old Bar; if it’s half-successful, it creates a Blood Vine Warrior like Barry, with no pain and a dull, bloodthirsty disposition.

Even if Su Xiao helped Karlo win, what then? The Yasenman Tribe wouldn’t recognize Karlo, nor would Reincarnation Paradise restore Karlo’s contractor status; Karlo, relying on his half-contractor, half-plot character identity, had leaked too many secrets.
"Seems like I’ve chosen a smart person as an ally."
Old Bar laughed heartily, blocking Karlo’s rush towards Su Xiao.
