Her trembling shoulders showed just how bad she was feeling, and, for reasons I couldn’t quite explain, it made my heart race.
She looked even prettier now, like a gem I couldn’t resist possessing.
"I don’t know what came over me. I just—" She hesitated, lifting her wrist to show the watch. "He gave this to me. It was an anniversary gift. I love him... and we’re already engaged."
My silence stretched as I stared at her watch. So this was it—a strong shock or emotional trigger was enough to shatter my control over her.
My gaze returned to her, and I saw how unsettled she looked, fearful that I might expose her indecent act with her own patient.
I could totally be a jerk and use this to blackmail her, but that wouldn’t be fair. And honestly, it’s not like my body could even do anything more... entertaining.
"You can trust me, Miss Claire. I would never do anything to hurt you."
Her fingers tightened around the watch until the metal bit into her skin.

I looked down—black suit, silk tie, and a faint trace of cologne that wasn’t mine. Everything about this person screamed "host."

"Mind your own business, old man. I’ll do what I want with my life."
The words left my mouth before I even realized—Francis’s mannerisms guiding me like muscle memory, even though my mind was fully my own.

Sliding open the door, I was greeted by a chorus of laughter.
Inside sat three women, all older than me by at least a decade. Their jewelry glimmered almost as brightly as their wine glasses.
Their dresses were bold but classy—tight-fitting with low necklines and high slits that showed their legs.
Just by looking at them, I could tell these were women with rich husbands who probably didn’t pay much attention to them.
So they came for some attention, talking to a host, whose whole job was to listen and make them feel special in different ways.
"Ohh, Francis, finally decided to show up," one of them teased, twirling her fingers teasingly against my shoulder.
"My, my, Francis," she cooed, "you’re even more handsome up close. My friends said you’re good at pleasing women... so, what’s your price?"
Gently, he adjusted his necktie and offered a charming smile.
"Ma’am, I see you’re a new guest. I don’t conduct business outside the bar due to my contract, but while you’re here, you’re welcome to enjoy yourself however you like."
"However I like," she said with a playful smile, sliding closer until she sat lightly on the edge of my lap.
"Is this... allowed?" she asked, already licking my ears.
"Of course, ma’am, but there would be an additional fee for that."
"I don’t mind," she whispered . "Name your price. I’ll pay anything."
The offer was tempting, but my excitement fizzled the moment the other two stepped in, unwilling to let their friend get ahead. As it turns out, nothing kills the mood faster than a woman’s jealousy.
"Risa, don’t scare Francis away with your boldness," one of them chided gently. "I’m sorry, Francis. She just likes teasing young men."
"Don’t worry, I know she was just teasing me. I actually enjoy a bit of playful challenge now and then."
The table erupted with giggles, their eyes sparkling from both the alcohol and my words.
One poured him a drink, another stroked his sleeve, and the new customer was having her time holding his hands.
They were practically daring him to play along, their teasing inviting him to push the boundaries with them.
