In a metal room with dime lighting Vice looked at Elon, who was tied to a chair his face was beaten to the point that he could not be recognised, his nails torn out, part's of his skin was cut off, he was bleeding but still conscious, his head facing his lap.
"Elon you spoke to the Association and what did they tell you?" he looked at Elon waiting for a response.
"Vice. .they said I should take you to a SSS-Rank dungeon where ....several hunter's will be present...so you can rob the dungeon and they....to be oblivious to your presence until the job is done" Elon spoke in a shaky voice.
"If I refuse?" He looked at Elon with narrowed his eyes and spoke in a controlled tone.
Elon hesitated "If you refuse...they'll send an SS-Rank hunter for....ur head"
A dagger pierced Elon left shoulder, Vice's jaw tightened when heard those words he gave Elon a stern look.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorr...y sorry" Elon apologised he seemed to be afraid of what Vice would do to him if consumed by his anger again.
"Who else is involved?" he spoke as he stepped closer to Elon who clenched his jaw and closed his eyes preparing for the unknown but Vice just stood in front of him waiting for answer.
Elon made it obvious that he didn't want to answer.
Vice grabbed his hair and pulled it backward forcing Elon to look at him then Vice pulled out the dagger out of his shoulder.
"everyone in the crew" Vice heard the reply yet his expression was unreadable due to the rooms lighting.
Elon could have chosen not to speak but he had been trapped here for 2 days with Vice and the experience was something he seemed to have zero interest in reliving, his eyes showed that he wanted the sweet embrace of death to him it seemed far better than staying here with him. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ ɴo(v)elFɪre.ɴet
Vice bent down and stabbed Elon in the belly then he pulled out his dagger, he wiped the blood off on Elon's hair then walked to the exit leaving Elon to bleed to death.
after wasting 2 days with Elon, Vice was tired but he didn't have time to waste
'Should I run?' he thought as he stood on the sidewalk signaling for a Taxi
He got in a blue hovercar "blue palace" the driver nodded and drove
"Tsk damn enforcers" he could see a few cars tailing him.
'Why did the Association pick me they could have chosen any rogue hunter for the job why me' he thought about the information that Elon told him, the Association wanted him to rob an SSS-Rank dungeon ignoring that he was only an C-Rank hunter.
'Is it because its easier to keep me in check when my crew sold me out' his vains bulged the thought of his crew give him a headache
"Sir we have arrived" the drive spoke, Vice got out of the car and walked to the hotel that had blue flowers around it.
He entered the hotel lobby went straight to the elevator as he entered the elevator two figures entered.
'They already have the whole city surrounded so I can't run' Vice thought as he looked at the two figures
He got out of the elevator and went to his room.
"Fuuuuuck!" Once inside he snapped throwing things to the walls
"Im only C-Rank you dumb fucks!" He was still destroy his room, the rank difference bothered him greatly, he wanted to run but he was already surrounded.
"No lets be positive the might be something that can help me escape in the dungeon" he stopped throwing thing around when he thought the might be hope
"Yeah all the S-Rank hunters in the city will be the dungeon and my crew as well so if they all die who'll stop me from escaping this city" he smiled as he thought about killing his former crew members.
"I lost my temper when Elon told me but after I excape im going to be a rich man" He thought about how after his crew betrayed him they sent Elon to deliver the new about the Association decision and where to meet up on the week end.
Vice spent the remaining day getting ready for the raid.
