Once we stop walking up to the flowers, Blaze and Conan place the urns down on the soft grass. Samson and I step through the flowers slowly together and the wind starts to blow lightly.
Neither of us say anything as we open the top and slowly let the wind take the ashes of our parents. Tears fall silently down my cheeks as peace washes over me that they can now rest, knowing Samson and I are safe and finally the happiest we have been in so many years.
Jasel and Zane bring over Devon and Hest urns, handing them out lightly to Samson and I. We take the urns and follow the same movements. Placing the lids back on them, Samson pulls me in for a hug and my tears flow even more.
I pull out of the hug and bend down to rest on my legs in the flowers. Pulling the item out of my pocket, the sun shines bright on the last family picture we had. Zane made sure to make copies of the picture to where we have a larger verison framed in our room and Samson was given a copy of it. Looking at each of their faces again, Samson joins me.
We move the flowers off to the side and I push the prongs to the frame into the dirt. Looking down at the picture of them where they will now lay to rest. After a few minutes Samson and I get off the ground and walk over to the others.
Zane wraps his arms around me and I lean into his embrace, watching the wind take and swirl the ashes around. It seems like they are getting one last dance in life, is how I would like to see it as.
We all turn and walk back to the pack house, together. The air feels lighter knowing now what happened to their bodies and knowing that all four of them can finally be in peace.
A happiness does run through me that I at least still have one of my brothers here with me. I am grateful for him living through it, even though what he lived through was the worst hearing him talk about. Samson has some issues sleeping still but he is slowing doing better and time is the only thing that will help him to be better but he won't ever be the exact same, just as I never will. We are both okay with that though because now we are here and have a purpose.
Samson has been seeing Chave also within the past few months. Which has been so sweet for the both of them.
Not to mention Blaze may have found the love of his life with a she wolf too. He has grown even closer to the one who owns the jelewry shop on the pack lands and they are right at the same age.
It is amazing to see how a mate bond forms between the couples. They are choosen mates and by them dating and spending time together a bond forms and it becomes as if they were fated mates, like Zane and me or even fated mates like Conan and Jasel.
Something Jasel and I have spoke about many times and are so happy for our brothers in finding love. Something they both needed too.
Chester kicks every single dandelion that his little feet can find. Which makes us all laugh and it something that we all need in this moment.
"So what should we do for our Luna's birthday?" Blaze smirks looking over to us.
Chave and Ellias join us once we come out of the forest. Each of the ladies wrapping in Samson and Blaze's arms.
"I got an idea." Conan smiles.
Zane nods once his eyes clear from the apparent mind link. Before I get to ask questions, Zane throws me over his shoulder and we all take off in a run. I bounce on Zane's shoulder and swat his behind, still loving the firm muscles there. It hits me what I said almost a year ago when I was out of it from the healing spell I had.
Jasel snickers when I pop Zane and follows in behind us. A cooling breeze comes over me and I know we walk inside.
Zane moves his hands and I stand in front of him a second later. His lips are pulled in a smirk, before his large hand covers my eyes and spins me around.
"I am not five. Please move your hand." I huff and can't get his large fingers to budge for me to see around us.
"The ladies were preparing this for you, our Luna, while we had a special moment." Zane's deep voice vibrates through my with my back against his chest.
I love how he put that because the memorial was a special moment. Now I am curious what they all had up their sleeves though for this to be planned and them working on things during this time.
"What is it?" I laugh, trying to hide the arousal I can feel pooling between my legs with how Zane's voice set off instantly.
Zane moves his hands and many pack members scream surprise.
My eyes go wide with the amount of members here and the food set up off to the side.
"Our Luna needs to celebrate her birthday after having many with bad memories. We want to make sure you start having the best ones we can give." Zane whispers in my ear.
I turn and press my body against him even more and capture his lips in mine. I pull back after a few seconds and smile wide.
"I love you so much and I couldn't be happier than I am when I'm with you." I whisper.
"Maybe after this Ruken and I can take you on a run." Zane whispers.
I nod. "Yes, please because even though it is my birthday I have a gift for you." I smile.
Jasel and Chave pull my arms and drag me away from Zane, who I can't help but laugh at with his confused face. I can feel him poke around in the bond we share and I keep the one part hidden tight because I want to keep it a surprise.
The ladies shower me with gifts and I thank them all individually. When the time comes around for cake, I get all the younger kids to gather around because I want to see their smiling faces. All together we each take a fork and slice through the cake at the same time, the little giggles are worth it all.
"You're the best Luna this pack could have." Chave smiles and Jasel agrees with her.
Once the little party calms, Zane pulls me into his arms again.
"Would you like to take our run together now?" His voice vibrates through me again.
I nod and we walk outside together. Zane strips and shifts within a moments notice. I jump up on his back and we take off for our waterfall hidden in the forest.
Right when we get to the water, I slide off Ruken's back.
"Give me one second before you shift because I want to see Ruken's reaction to this too." I smile and walk in front of him.
I grab his muzzle in my hands.
"We have spoke many time between Zane and I about kids. Well, my birth control ran out last night and I don't plan on starting the new pack of pills. We love each other so much and things are calm now. Are you boys ready to start a family?"
Ruken's head nods vehemently and he pulls back from my hands. I watch as this huge wolf of mine jumps up and down, before running circles around me. He stops, panting and licks my face. I laugh and push him some, wiping my face. He shifts a moment later and a naked Zane stands before me.
Zane's face is so bright and bubbly it makes me giggle. He rushes up and wraps his arms around me and catches my lips in a passion filled kiss.
"I love you so much, mi tesoro." Zane whispers and his eyes fill with happy tears.
"Why don't you show me how much you love me." I smirk, wrapping my arms around his neck tighter.
Zane lowers me to the forest floor and slowly removes my clothes, as he worships every inch of my skin.
