The campus quad was bustling, but all eyes snapped to them the moment Mo Lia raised her voice.
After all, some of them had heard that the Mo Family and Hill Family had some bad blood between them.
Whereas both the daughters of the Yu Family were involved with the heirs of Mo Family and Hill Family.

’’Did I do something wrong, Essie... You..." Ella glanced at Mo Lia, ’’All of this is my fault. Don’t blame my sister.’’
Before anyone could even try, Ella refused all potential blame with her ’I am dumb’ card.
But her words indeed increased the credibility of all that happened, showing that Esther was thoroughly wrong in this matter.
Even Mo Lia and Violet who were close to Esther could find no faults with Ella at this moment.
"My brother has to know about this. When time comes, keep your explanation ready!" After Mo Lia said that, she did not stay there for another second.
"Lia, wait!" Esther curled her fist but did not immediately leave.

As the gossips in the crowd increased, Esther quickly left the place.
Amidst the chaos, Ella slipped away before anyone could notice her.
But she had barely moved to a little distance before she was intercepted by an even more annoying storm.
"Quite a show you put for them!" With his appearance fixed by the stylists, Kade no longer looked like the mess that he was last night.
’’Were you impressed?"
"Not as much as you’d want me to be,’’ Kade clicked his tongue, ’’The show you put the night before was still better.’’
Ella was annoyed. It seems like she would have to forget about going to the class today.

"I never asked you to copy my answers. You assumed I did.’’
Ella shoved her phone in his face.
Kade suspiciously looked at it and it was an university mail that he was the most familiar with because he had also received one like that.
Ella remained quiet, her face dark. She did not want to talk about her sore spit in studies yet this guy kept pushing her.
"You are this terrible at History? I am not the only person with the most humiliating marks?" Kade seemed to have brightened up like a fresh peach.
Ella snatched her phone away from him but mid way, her phone vibrated.
Both Ella and Kade looked at it at the same time.
When Ella tried to yank her phone away from Kade, Kade tightened his grip on it.
’’Acting all sneaky? Tell me, are you cheating on my brother now? Is this a text from your lover huh? What’s the name again..." Kade narrowed his eyes, "Max?"
Ella paused and tried to pull the phone.
Just as Kade reached out to hold the phone with both his hands, Ella released her grip on it.
Kade staggered back, almost losing his balance, ’’You...’’
When he stabilized himself, he realized that Ella was still standing in her spot, without looking the least bit bothered about her phone that was in his hand.
"Such an unruly child, wanting to read the messages between his brother and sister-in-law,’’ Ella waved her hand, looking uninterested, ’’Forget it, this lady here holds holds no grudges~ I will let you see it since you are curious!"
Kade’s face turned green at the implied ’such a pervert’ floating in the air.
In his disgust, he stepped forward, wanting to shove the phone in her hand.
But suddenly, he froze.
In the exchange with Ella earlier, the conversation with Adrian had already popped open at some point.
Kade’s eyes only briefly roamed over Ella’s cringe and mushy texts but when his gaze landed on the texts from his brother, his entire body tingled over.
Goosebumps covered his body.
Ella had expected him to preserve his dignity and return the phone to her. So when he did not do that, she was curious.
So, she turned to look at him.
However, Kade stood there, rooted to his spot.
The guy was a little pale in face and he looked like he had seen a ghost.
Ella stretched her neck and peeked at her phone.
On the chat, there was a picture of Adrian.
In the picture, Adrian held a file in his hand. Handsome to the heavens, alluring to the hell, yet the man’s beauty did not justify the caption that accompanied the text.
Kade clutched his chest, looking like he needed some help in breathing. He could not imagine his glacier of a brother taking some time out to type something !
Ella looked at him in sympathy, ’’This is why you should listen to your elders while you can...’’
She glanced at the text a little longer before typing a reply.
Kade peeked at her text and his face turned green as he watched her type.
He looked like he wanted to puke a little.
Ella read her text again:
