The crowd filled the scene while I sat down with Alia instead. I was so worried but I didn't even dare to look at Janielle. I was scared like a puppy.
Clarissa tried to calm Alia, who was shaking incessantly. I kept praying until I decided to accompany Janielle to the hospital. I had to see what kind of condition she was.
Her condition was so bad. Blood had already covered half of her face, her head was badly injured. Doctor and nurses immediately helped as much as they could.
I cried in front of the room trying to enter. I just wanted to hug her just one more time. I kept on crying while trying to break down the door where she was trying to between life and death.
All I could do just praying to God.
My heart felt empty just as the doctor came out with a stunned expression, bringing us news that we never wanted it to be told.
"She has gone."
It felt like my world came to a halt after that day. I never visited the orphanage again as if I forgot that Alia still needed me. I started to oppose everything my adoptive father taught me.
All things that could numb my pain, I would definitely try. My world was shattered into pieces like a dry leaves scattered in the garden.
Everything was a mess. I had thought about ending my life because I felt completely useless. If only I had saved her, she wouldn't go away.
No matter day or night I just kept shedding tears without me realizing it. Her face when laughing, sad, or frowning continued to haunt my daily dose of life.
I was like a human who had lost direction in life until I tried to escape from everything. After six months my condition improved. My adoptive father always took me to a psychiatrist to treat my trauma and deep sadness that almost made me crazy.
He said that I was acting out of my mind everyday. I feed the wall or I talked to myself while mentioning Janielle's name when I didn't realize I had done it myself.
And it was where my revenge mission actually begun. I knew the power of the Ainsley family because Barra was my friend in college.
The man got everything he wanted in just one click of a finger. All my friends always wanted to be his close friends, it was just that guy was too picky about friends. I could read his every motives so clearly. He would not be friend someone who was not profitable for him.

But, it could never delete the fact that she was a killer who didn't want to take responsibility. The Ozza family had always been under the help of the Ainsley family. It was not easy for me to just report this case to the police when Sumedh Ainsley himself had closed the case of Janielle's death.
Every day I swore I would destroy those who did not have the heart to give justice to Janielle.
I worked hard to raise my father's company to the forefront, at least getting close to the Ainsleys.
My world was so dark because revenge always controlled every second of my breath. I betrayed people and even threatened them. Joining the mafia was the last thing on my mind, but I joined them.
All this solely just to destroy Barra's family. I had no other intention other than that, because he was my big obstacle all this time.
If only he didn't support Jazzlin, surely I would never interfere with his family.
Until a few weeks ago, I discovered a new fact that Barra did not know all these things. I had thought this was the right turning point to make Barra stop helping the Ozza family again.

What she did, kept reminding me of Janielle. Both of them had the same compatibility. Secretly, I paid attention to her, sending her my men to know everything she was doing.
That day I managed to bring Alia home. Mr. Salvatore was really stupid to believe all the false promises I gave him. He helped me block Jake and the rest of Barra's men. I didn't think it would be that easy against them, but it was.
Our meeting in front of the lift was not accidental.
Actually, I didn't need to enter that hospital when I had finished arranging all my strategies but somehow I really wanted to meet her- no, not just to meet. I wanted to see her way of talking to me.
I got information about where Jake was being treated, so I got to the floor where the room was. I saw Barra and the others were busy talking. So, I got off the lift and how shocked I was when I met her there.
How stupid would it be for Barra to let this woman go unattended alone?
This woman was just as clumsy as Janielle. Just because of her shock, she almost fell if I didn't quickly pulled her.
My mind only crossed Janielle's face. Even though it was clear that she was not my Janielle then why did my heart keep saying the opposite?
Anger came back over me when my eyes accidentally found the private lift door which had just opened and Barra was staring from there. I held my eyes until he caught my eyes. Just to make sure he knew that I was in his hospital.
"It seems like we always meet at the wrong times." I purposely made her continue to respond to me.
"It's always gonna be wrong meeting you." Did she really have this fellow character just like Janielle?
I laughed, trying to intimidate her even more, "Feisty, I like it."
She never took off her eyes from mine as she kept talking about something that I didn't really care, "Your stupid blackmail can never bring me down, mind you!"
From the corner of my eye I could see Barra was full of anger. He was so tensed but strangely he didn't do anything, so I tried to provoke his anger so that it immediately exploded, "What are you talking about little girl?" I drew closer to her right ear as her fragrance bursted, "Seems like your boyfriend is jealous to see us this close."
She blinked as I was satisfied with her response. Perhaps she tried to understand what I had just said until she came to the releasation.
She pushed me and turned her body around.
"I like the shocked look on your face." I said in low-tone.
"Get away from her." Finally, he opened his mouth.
"Nice to meet you, my old friend." I kept smirking as I took a step forward, "But I can't stay long, I have something to finish."
Now I knew that Jazzlin was really important to him. I didn't need to physically hurt her, but I could destroy the love between these two lovers.
"Next time we'll talk again, okay?" I sent her my wink just to make him pissed off even more. I walked away.
"This would be very interesting." I mumbled to myself.
I must immediately launch my next plan. The plan this time was the last and most difficult plan for me. There were two options to finish off everyone or I had to move them from the hospital, but it was not an easy thing.
I tried to find loopholes and short paths in a short time. And my decision was final. I would just transfer them all to my hospital which was big enough to accommodate them all.
All my strategies and plan went smoothly until Jazzlin suddenly told me about her whose life was switched. I never wanted to believe her then why did I always give her the opportunity to explain?
At first it all didn't make sense until she explained everything in detail. She really knew about everything.
It left me in a state of confusion. Her signature was exactly the same. I realized that because I saw Janielle's autograph a lot.
But what convinced me that she was Janielle wasn't all that but when she was willing to sacrifice her life for me. It was exactly the same as what Janielle did to Alia.
If she didn't love me, there was no way she would just give up her life for the man who had tried to destroy her many times.
