Sara and her parents could not move an inch; all of their bodies were suddenly out of their control.
Those weird threads attached themselves to the three of them and started controlling their movements.
The creepy man clapped loudly and jumped in happiness as if he was feeling delighted.

"Greetings ladies and gentleman, I am a ’Chef’ by profession; the name is Snegnar, but some prefer to call me the ’Happy Chef’..."
"You all are very lucky people; today I, an S-ranker myself, will make a great dish for you. I will cook for you personally and increase the happiness of your family!"

After introducing himself, Snegnar smiled creepily and caused all three of the audience members to feel extreme fear.
His presence as an S-ranker was so strong that it suppressed the three of them completely, and they couldn’t even scream or retort.
Only Sara, who was an awakener, could barely open her mouth to speak.
"W-what do you want from us... w-why are you here!?
Snegnar smiled and licked his lips at those words, causing Sara to feel frightened.

The more Sara listened to that voice, the more uncomfortable she felt.
Snegnar waved his arm and used those threads to control Sara’s father’s body.
Her father got up from the seat and slowly went to the kitchen with weird movements.
He was walking like a doll being controlled by strings, and his face was covered in a look of horror and worry.
Snegnar giggled, laughed, and jumped in happiness as he mocked and teased Sara and her mother while he controlled Sara’s father’s body and made him grab a big knife from the kitchen.
He made Sara’s father return to the dining table and giggled.
"To make a great meal! We need ingredients first!! Kekeke!!"
With a single movement of his fingers, Snegnar controlled Sara’s mother’s body and made her bring her hand forward while her father’s arm raised high as he tightly clenched the knife in his hand.
All three of them could already understand what Snegnar was trying to do, and they were horrified at that revelation.
Sara screamed in panic.
"NOOO!!! NO, Stop!! Stop!! NOO!! What are you doing!? Noo... Please!! Please!!! I beg you!! Stop this!!"
She cried, and her mother also started crying in fear as she looked at her loving husband with a look of fear and horror in her eyes.
Sara’s father was even more horrified, and he struggled with his entire might to stop his body from moving, but it was all to no avail.

Snegnar made Sara father chop that severed arm slowly with the same knife.

With each chop a loud noise was created, and with each noise, Sara and her family cried and suffered even more.
Sara wanted to look at her mother and try to help her stop the bleeding, but she couldn’t move at all.
Blood flowed everywhere like crazy, and the entire dining table was smeared in blood.
The cake, which symbolized Sara’s happiness, was now covered in blood and was completely destroyed.
But she could not even stop all this from happening.
Her happiness, her peaceful life, her loving parents—everything was being destroyed bit by bit, and she was helpless to stop it all.
Every passing second felt like an eternity, and every minute was filled with enough fear and intense agony to crush a person’s mind.
Soon Snegnar made her father grill that severed arm’s pieces on the stove.
Then he put them all on a plate before bringing those half-burnt pieces of meat back to the blood-covered dining table.
"Amazing!! This amazing dish deserves a celebratory dance, don’t you all think?"
Snegnar giggled as he made Sara’s parents stand together and controlled their bodies to make them dance in a weird manner.
He made them hit their heads on the walls, rip their own clothes like maniacs, and hit themselves with various household items.
The two of them even stabbed and cut each other with sharp objects while bleeding and crying to perform a horrific dance.
And Sara was forced to watch all this from a close distance.
Snegnar didn’t do anything to her but completely shattered her hope by showing her this crushing scene.
Unlike her parents, who were suffering immense physical pain, she was feeling immense mental burden and pain.
Everything seemed like a horrible nightmare; she wanted to wake up from this nightmare, but she couldn’t.
She wanted to stop all this, but she couldn’t.
"Now that the dance is done! Let’s eat the dish, everyone!"
Snegnar clapped happily as he made all three of them grab those pieces of burnt meat and eat them.
By this point, Sara’s mother had already lost too much blood from all that movement and all those injuries.

Seeing this Snegnar shouted angrily.

With a wave of his hand, the threads wrapped around Sara’s mother’s head and burst it apart like a hammer hitting a watermelon and shattering it into pieces.
Her brain matter splattered everywhere and fell on Sara’s and her father’s clothes.
It was such a horrifying scene that her father’s bloodshot eyes were filled with horror, and he bled from his nose and ears from the mental breakdown.
"NOOO!! NOOOO!! Mom!! Mom! Nooo... This can’t be happening... This isn’t real!"
Sara cried and screamed in despair.
Her screams were filled with agony and pain.

Sara’s father could not take the torture anymore, and seeing his beloved wife die such a horrible death was the last straw that broke him.

Just when Snegnar was laughing happily and talking with a tone filled with happiness and pleasure, an emotionless voice entered his ears.

Snegnar had no idea when that person appeared, as he didn’t even sense his presence at all.
The demon mask was extremely close to Snegnar’s face, which was staring at Sara, and the dark black eyes were staring at Snegnar with an emotionless look in them.
