The Ancestor stood before Rice, Butler of the clan, and Leonard, his son. What he had gleaned from the remnants of his destroyed clone made one thing clear: Quin was powerful—formidable beyond the Ancestor’s initial assumptions. From what he sensed, the odds of him losing in battle against Quin had risen to nearly fifty percent. And that wasn’t all. The mysterious presence of Drakion and his companions troubled him even more.
They had summoned a Dragon—or perhaps a Dragonoid. The Ancestor couldn’t say for certain which Quin truly was.
"It seems those four are related to Dragons. They might even know where that dragon roar originated from," the Ancestor muttered, his voice deep and grave, eyes turning toward the butler.
"Father... I’m getting confused here," Leonard said, stepping forward, brows furrowed in disbelief.
The Ancestor began recounting everything he had observed through the memories of his fallen clone. As Leonard listened, his expression twisted with shock and disbelief. A single strike—just one—had been enough to bring down even the highest-level Saint Skill from his father’s clone.
"How could you offend such beings?" Leonard demanded, turning sharply toward Butler Rice, a mixture of confusion and anger in his gaze.
"Clan Head, we didn’t offend them! We don’t even know who they are! They just appeared, attacked us, and claimed they were going to kill the young master," Butler Rice replied quickly, bowing his head in humble defense.
"There’s no way such individuals would act without provocation—unless someone did something to trigger them," Leonard said coldly. "It seems I’ll have to begin restraining Leo from indulging in his bad habits."
"Father, should I order a search for them?" he asked, turning toward the Ancestor.
"Don’t bother. Word has likely already spread—people will be searching for them," the Ancestor replied. "Besides... how’s the progress on breaking through that place?"
"Father, it’ll only take a week. Then we’ll pierce through it completely," Leonard said, bowing his head with respect.
"Good. Let’s wait until then. If they truly are connected to Dragons, there’s no way they wouldn’t head to the ruin." The Ancestor smiled faintly as he turned and walked away.
Drakion had made sure the dragons were always cultivating. The words of the Progenitor Dragons echoed constantly in his mind. He didn’t waste a moment—venturing out to level up at every opportunity, slaying beasts wherever he could. Now, he had stepped into the Origin Ancestor Realm.
And there were two new additions to the Dragon Clan—the Fire Dragon and the Ice Dragon.
The Fire Dragon had been converted from a Blaze Lynx, a feral feline beast known for its ember-coated claws and blazing temperament.
The Ice Dragon, on the other hand, had been converted from a Glacier Crane, a majestic bird that soared gracefully through the heart of snowstorms and blizzards.
Drakion had encountered the Blaze Lynx while traversing a lava-ridden region in search of rare herbs to plant in the Dragon Garden.
As for the Glacier Crane—it had left its home, wounded and hiding in a secretive crevice. Drakion had discovered it there, barely clinging to life.
Both creatures possessed Royal Grade bloodlines—undeniable proof of their lineage, for they were the first to awaken the dormant power within.
And through them, Drakion had gained control over fire and ice. A reward granted by his unique, cheat-like ability.

Kaidros, however, had not been able to break through. He explained that the realm he sought demanded deep comprehension. As for the others, they had already advanced.
The two serpent sisters had each reached the early stage of the Origin Ancestor Realm, having previously been in the Origin King Realm before their transmutation. Lizzy now stood at the late stage of the Origin Warrior Realm.
Finn had climbed to the peak of the Origin Warrior Realm. The rest varied in strength between the Origin Warrior and Origin King Realms. The Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon were both at the Origin King Realm—Fire Dragon at the late stage, Ice Dragon at the peak.
One might marvel—or even be shocked—at the swiftness of their cultivation progress. But the truth lay in the Dragon Pool. Beyond its transformative power that reshaped beings into dragons, it possessed the uncanny ability to accelerate cultivation.
All Drakion needed to do was slay powerful beasts, and the Dragon Pool would convert their essence into a blood-infused cultivation resource, empowering every member of the clan.
As Drakion sat upon his Dragon Throne, a rare sense of delight always surged through him. But suddenly, that serene moment shattered—a mournful, thunderous Draconic roar echoed across the land.
It wasn’t just Drakion who heard it.
The entire southern region of the Origin Continent felt it. The tremor of that roar even rippled faintly across the distant ranges.
Everyone in the Vorr Clan surged toward the Dragon Throne Hall.
"Master, did you hear that dragon roar?" Kaidros asked, eyes fixed on Drakion.
"Yes. I heard it too."
Then suddenly—a jolt. Drakion felt something struggling to emerge from the System, stirred by a sudden notification. When he checked, he saw the scale glowing, ablaze with golden light.
He summoned it forth, and the radiant scale illuminated the entire throne hall.

Drakion was surprised by the command, but he obeyed. A drop of his blood touched the scale—and it was instantly absorbed. The golden light flared brighter, blinding all who stood in the hall.
In the next instant, before anyone could react, the scale transformed—becoming whole, complete, and pulsing with power. As Drakion reached out and touched it, the scale flashed and vanished, merging into his body.
Then—a strange map unfolded within his mind.
A moment later, he felt a familiar call...something beckoning him from beyond.
"Do you feel that too?" Drakion asked, turning to his companions.
They all nodded—each one feeling the same invisible tug.
[A mission has been activated.]
