A black obsidian dragon with golden eyes spread its wings—over twenty meters wide—while its body stretched to fifteen meters in length. It radiated an unspeakable aura that devoured all things. It was like an insatiable star, consuming the light and energy of every other celestial body.
Though its eyes gleamed with gold, they carried a righteous aura. Yet, within their deepest depths, a terrifying devouring power swirled. The energy it emitted was not that of a mere royal or emperor—it was primordial, ancient, as though he were the Progenitor of all Dragons. Within his very being, thunder, sword, blood, and death spiraled in the core of his essence.
He is the wings that shadow the sun.
He is the wrath that devours time and gods alike.
He is the Devouring Dragon.
This dragon stood amidst more than ten Draconic figures—all of whom lowered their heads, paying homage to their emperor.
Drake beheld this scene and, seeing that everything was in place, did not hesitate. He clicked "Yes", initiating the leveling up of the Dragon Palace.

The Dragon Palace began to glow with an intense light. Murals and carvings along the walls came alive, as countless Draconic roars echoed throughout the grand halls.
Suddenly, a tremendous influx of Originat surged into the palace, causing the glow to intensify. The dragons watched in awe as the Dragon Palace began to expand in size, its grandeur swelling with power and legacy.
Amid this spectacle, the black dragon tattoo on Drake’s body blazed with brilliance—so radiant that even his scales couldn’t conceal it. The golden light from the palace illuminated them all, bathing them in divine radiance.
[Scanning Host’s body and soul for any anomalies...]
[An issue has been detected within the Host.]
Drake raised a brow in confusion. What problem could it be? A tracker? A curse? Something that could reveal their location?
[It has been determined that the Host’s current name is unworthy of one who bears the mantle of Dragon Emperor.]
Drake scoffed. He had chosen that name deliberately—to avoid attention, to walk among others without the weight of grand titles.
[The System understands the Host’s intent to maintain a low profile. However, the current name does not reflect the truth of the Host’s power and destiny.]

[’Drake’ shall remain the Host’s human identity. ’Drakion’ shall represent the Host’s Draconic identity.]
[From this day forth, the Host’s True Name is: Vael’Drakion Vorr—The Devouring Dragon (Devourer).]
Immediately Drake heard this from the system, an ancient, primal aura descended upon him. Originat surged through the air, flowing rapidly into his body, drawn as if by a force older than time.
Then, in an instant, Drakion’s surroundings changed.
He found himself suspended in a vast, starry sky. The stars gleamed like lanterns of eternity, their light the only illumination in this boundless expanse. The aura here was overwhelming—Progenitor and primal. It felt more ancient and forbidden than the place he had entered when the Devouring Dragon first summoned him.
"Welcome, Vael’Drakion Vorr."
Drakion heard the voice echo around him. He turned—and what he beheld made his breath hitch.
What could he even call them? They weren’t colossal or gigantic—those words were too small. He could only see their faces, not their full forms. He couldn’t even tell what kind of dragons they were. But he counted them.
Nine dragons stood before him, radiating an aura so defiant, so fearsome, it made the stars seem like mere sparks.
"Who are you? How do you know me?" Drakion asked, his voice edged with awe and disbelief.
"Have you forgotten me, Daniel?"
The moment those words were spoken, Drakion turned sharply toward one of the dragons. A surge of familiarity—an intimate, deep-rooted aura—flooded through him.
"Devouring Dragon God..." Drakion whispered, eyes wide with shock.
"So, you haven’t forgotten me."
The dragon’s voice was calm, almost amused. But Drakion stood frozen, overwhelmed and confused.
"What’s happening?" he demanded. He needed answers.
"Devouring... is this the one you chose?" another dragon asked, scoffing as he turned toward the Devouring Dragon.
"I didn’t choose him. He came on his own."
The Devouring Dragon’s response stunned Drakion. What does he mean I came on my own?
"What do you mean?" another dragon pressed, eyeing Drakion.
"Look at him. Can’t you see?"
With that, Drakion suddenly felt the weight of nine ancient gazes upon him. A moment passed, and their expressions shifted—first to surprise, then to composed amusement.
"Well, we’ve yet to introduce ourselves. This young dragon must be terrified," one of them chuckled, his voice like a rolling quake through the stars.
"Drakion, meet the Progenitors of the Dragons. All dragons in the universe are our descendants."
The Devouring Dragon’s words struck like thunder. Drakion’s breath caught. These beings... they radiated a presence more ancient than gods.
"The Dragon God you met during your rebirth... that was merely a part of me. A clone."
Drakion’s eyes widened further. A clone? That overwhelming being was just a fragment?
He wanted to ask more, but the dragons exuded no hostility. So, cautiously, he continued.
"Why am I here? Why now?"
"Your name," one of the dragons answered.
"What do you mean? Why didn’t I appear here when I named myself Drake?" Drakion asked, confused.
"Hmph. Such a lowly name," one of the dragons scoffed, his voice shaking the air.
"Drakion, never forget—your name defines you."
