I was back in the hotel that I'm currently staying at.

I grabbed my phone that I bought one on my way here—then connected it to my [V.D.]—setting it up was quite easy.
Then after that, I sent a message to Tyrone.
[Night]: I'll be at your place tomorrow around [1:00 PM], can you send me your address?
Not waiting for long, Tyrone quickly sent a reply.
[Tyrone]: Got it, see you tomorrow. My address is , in Gleda City.
Tyrone and I had been exchanging messages these past few days. And I'm glad to know that he trusts me enough to give me his address.
Though, I didn't reply to his message as I got bored. And after closing the message tab with Tyrone...

It was Nightfall. They were online. Curiosity got over me, so I replied to them.

A reply came after a few seconds.

Greeting each other with 'good evening' is weirding me out because of our nicknames.
I actually notice most weird things.
[Nightfall]: This is kinda weird because of our nicknames, isn't it? Anyway, how's your day?
Looks like Nightfall notices weird things too.
Nightfall asked how's my day?
'It's a fucking disaster.'
I thought as I recalled the shit I've been through in less than a day!

Is what I replied. I can't really tell those things to someone I don't even know the gender or age of. Nightfall is still a stranger to me—a stranger that gives me a huge amount of money!

[Night]: You're welcome, I hope it lessens your stress.
I remember Nightfall complaining about someone stressing them.
[Nightfall]: My stress lessened a lot! Actually, one of the causes of my stress is nowhere to be seen these days. Maybe he's dead.
I didn't know what to reply to Nightfall's message.
A small laugh escaped my mouth.
I said, breaking out a smile.
I found their words hilarious for some reason.

I sent to Nightfall. After that, I heard a knock on the door.
[Night]: I'm gonna continue my novel now, have a good day! ^o^
I sent another message to Nightfall, then I turned off my phone and approached the door.
And after opening it... A cute woman greeted me.
I smiled at her as I prompted her to come in.
"Come in, I'll cook something for us."
Keara's face brightened at my words. Then she entered the room.
I cooked some dinner for us and helped her get comfy, and soon... We ate together.
We talked about our day—she had another stressful day at work. Meanwhile, I just told her I did some business.
I don't want to worry her by telling I almost died in a duel.
I'm currently at the mall with Keara.
And the two of us are in Gleda City.
I have 3 more hours before I meet with Tyrone.
Keara came with me because after meeting with Tyrone, I'll be going back to Lunar.
So she took a day off from work today and went on a date with me.
"Are you sure you want to spend your day off with me?"
I asked Keara. We're walking toward the cinema side by side.
"Not just my day off, but all of my time."
Keara answered without hesitation. She meant it.
I glanced at her. Her answer just now was pretty cheesy, but good—it flustered me, though I kept my calm facade.
I replied shyly. Hearing my words, Keara halted her steps and smiled brightly at me.
"Then you will receive good news in the near future!"
"Good news? What news?"
I asked in confusion.
"Secret, you'll know later."
Though I got no answer back. But afternoon seeing her smiling brightly, I didn't pry any longer.
'I'll just wait whatever it is.'
It's just then... I caught a glimpse of 3 men in front of us. They seemed to be in their early 20s.
They were approaching us. And they were ignoring my existence as they focused on Keara.
Lust and contempt could clearly be seen on their faces.
I frowned upon seeing that.
'Now I have two reasons to be annoyed with them.'
For ignoring my existence, and for attempting to steal what's mine.
This is a too common cliche.
They're handsome but have nasty looks in their eyes. To me... They just look disgusting.
They think everyone wants them.
So before they could even get close to us...
'[Monarch's Presence]'
I activated to the max and focused the pressure I was emitting on the three men!
Their steps halted and their eyes finally landed on me.
They're rank like me.
I looked at them with cold, indifferent eyes.
And just after a few seconds... They avoided my gaze and lowered their heads.
Even in that situation, I didn't withdraw the skill. I even exerted mana aura and pressed it down on them too.
The three seemed to want to run away, but their bodies wouldn't move.
"What are you doing?"
Then I heard a sweet and calming voice coming from my side.
Withdrawing my mana and skill, I looked at Keara.
Then I smiled and spoke.
"Nothing. Just warding off hyenas."
Keara just tilted her head in confusion.
I smiled and patted her.
"Don't mind it. Let's go."
I held her hand as I took the lead, though I matched Keara's small steps.
I'm greedy and hate dirty things, so I don't want any nasty bastards near what's mine.
I don't have time to deal with such cliche.
'I'm on a date right now.'
Keara and I watched an hour long movie and with the remaining two hours—we went shopping and I bought her everything she wants.
We ate last before leaving the mall.
Raven is currently standing in front of someone's house.
He's alone. Raven asked Keara if she wanted to come with him to meet with Vulcan and continue the date afterward, but even though tempted, she declined with a regretful expression, saying she had to prepare for something.
'Guess she's busy with something.'
Raven thought as he walked toward the door. He noticed that beside the house is a pretty wide stone workshop.
'That's the smithy, I think.'
The design of the smithy was tacky, but Raven actually didn't give a shit and just ignored it after a single glance.
And after taking some deep breaths, Raven knocked on the door.
He didn't need to knock again as he heard someone's hurried footsteps coming from inside.
Though Raven frowned when he heard something breaking too.
'I'm kinda worried...'
After the crash, there was total silence, so Raven was already considering breaking the door open.
But his worry disappeared when the door was opened by a man.
The man was tan with a good body build. He was fairly handsome, had short clean black hair and brown eyes.
He's a bit taller than Raven.
Raven is 5'9 ft. while the man was about 6'0 ft. or more.
The man's name is Tyrone Vulcan.
Raven immediately recognized him. I mean, how could he not? Tyrone is one of his creations.
Pity flashed in Raven's eyes while looking at him. Not that Tyrone noticed.
Soon, guilt slapped Raven again—
Tyrone's mother died not long after he was born. And his father died 3 years ago from a dungeon overflow.
Tyrone is 29 years old and living alone. Single.
Normally, he should've already been married at that age, unless he wants to ordain.
But because of mana scattered everywhere and people absorbing it into their bodies unconsciously every second, people's lives were extended. In this new world and era, the average lifespan of humans is 160 years old—twice what it was when the world didn't have an ounce of mana.
People also age slower after reaching the age of 20.
So Tyrone is still fine.
"Umm... Mister Night?"
Tyrone's deep and manly but careful voice entered Raven's ears.
Raven extended his hand to Tyrone and smiled.
"My real name is Raven Obadiah. You can just call me Raven."
Tyrone, also with a smile, grabbed his hand and shook it.
"I'm Tyrone Vulcan. Just call me Tyrone, nice to meet you."
