"Target is in range" I muttered into the ear piece. I was stood on the top of a tall building roof behind my sniper pointing it directly at Tyberias' head.
I giggled. Wouldn't it be funny if I accidentally shot him instead of the actual target?
"Juliana, if you're pointing that thing at me instead of the Framcois, I'll have to punish you when we get home" Tyberias mumbled through the earpiece.
"Sorry" I giggled and pointed it towards the actual target.
Tyberias had organised a meeting with the leader of the French Mafia, Francois Moisan. However, Francois made sure it was in a public place so Tyberias didn't have the chance to kill him but he had clearly underestimated Tyberias if he thought he wouldn't kill him regardless of the location, so that's where I came in. Apparently, Francois used to be an ally of Tyberias' however, he had been conspiring against him with the English, attempting to take him down, but Francois didn't know that Tyberias knew.
"I have a clear shot. Permission to shoot?" I said as I focussed on Francais' bald head.
"Permission granted" Tyberias said.
As soon as I heard those words, I pulled the trigger and Francais was soon on the ground in a pool of his own blood.
People around were running away and screaming frantically. One man even jumped in the harbour, desperately trying to swim away due to the crowd of people blocking his exit.
His men desperately tried to perform CPR but a bullet to the head would've killed him instantly.
I saw Tyberias and his men jump into their cars and quickly race off.
"Good shot, baby" I heard Tyberias say as I began packing up the gun.
"Thanks. I expect to be rewarded heavily" I grinned.
"Trust me, you will be rewarded very well" he chuckled.
"Ew. What the fuck. Stop flirting with her. We're on a mission" I heard Adrian grumble in the distance.
I face palmed, I forgot Tyberias was in a car full of his men who couldn't hear me but could hear Tyberuas speak.
"There's a car waiting for you- a black Mercedes. Get in it and meet me home" I heard Tyberias say.
"Okay, see you there"
I got down from the building and found the car Tyberias said was waiting for me. I quickly got in and we began to drive off.
"So, what's your name, I don't believe we've met before" I said to the driver, attempting to make conversation.
"My name is Anthony Grey, Ma'am. I've been working as Mr Romano's driver for about a decade."
"A decade? How did you survive that long with someone like Tyberias as your boss?" I joked.
He chuckled "well, Mr Romano is not completely intolerable. Plus, he pays me very generously and I need the money to pay for my daughter's medical bills"
"Medical bills?"
"Yes, Miss. My daughter has stage 3 cancer." He said sadly
"Oh. I'm so sorry to hear that. How old is she?" I asked.
"She's only 12. She's still got her whole life ahead of her"
I was shocked. "If you need help financially, me and Tyberias will be more than happy to help" I said reassuringly.
"Thank you Ma'am, but that won't be necessary" he smiled sadly and the car came to a stop
I had been so engrossed in the conversation I looked outside to see where we were to see us outside a large house.
Not Tyberias' house.
"Where are we?" I said and began to panic.
"I'm sorry Ma'am" was all he said and suddenly three men dressed in black with black masks began approaching the car.
I quickly undid the seat belt and jumped out of the car. I began to run the opposite direction but one of them caught up to me and gripped me tightly
I turned to the driver begging him to help me with my eyes but I saw one of the men hand him a stack of money and he drove off.
I struggled against the grip of the man holding me and quickly brought my fist back to punch him hard on the nose, remembering to do it exactly like Tyberias taught me.
He instantly let me go and nursed his probably broken nose.
"Fùck!" he groaned.
The second man ran towards me at an impossibly fast speed but I help up leg, when he was just about to crash into me, causing my foot to to collide with his private area at and incredibly hard force.
Then, I began to make a run for it.
"Stop that crazy bïtch" I heard the second man yell as he fell on the floor and covered his privates in pain.
"Stop or I shoot" I heard the third man shout at me.
I instantly froze and slowly turned around to see him with a gun pointing at my direction.
Damnit! I was so close.
I slowly put my arms up in surrender and he walked up to me and tied my hand up with a zip tie so I couldn't move then. He did the same with my feet before throwing me over his shoulder and walking into the house.
When we stepped outside I saw about 10 men staring at men. I cringed when I saw a couple of them lick their lips.
"What do I do with her now?" The guy holding me said
"Boss said, to take her to the basement. I'll come with you to assist" said the creepy guy that was previously licking him lips.
I was taken to the basement where I was sat down on a wooden chair. The creepy guy pulled out some rope and began to tie me up. He wrapped the rope around my torso but I flinched when I felt his perverted hands linger on my chest for a second too long.
"Don't touch me" I gritted out.
"You're not in a position to be making demands now are you?" He smirked.
I responded by spitting on his face over his mask
He scoffed and wiped it off. He reached for the duck tape and roughly taped my mouth shut.
"I'll be sure to come down at night to keep you company," he said.
I desperately looked at the other guy for help but he simply shrugged his shoulders.
Once they were sure I wouldn't be able to escape, they walked out the room.
Usually I was tough, however, this was different. Fear controlled me like nothing else; it kept me quiet and hopeless.
