Aaron lay down beside me. We both were panting heavily and covered in sweat after making love to each other the entire night. It's almost dawn. I turned and kept my head on his naked chest while he caressed my hair lovingly.
"Thank you for making me feel special" I look at him with a smile on my face.
"Thanks to you for the pleasure" I winked, making him laugh.
"Only I know how I survived the past month without you and our pups beside me. I missed you all" he said and kissed my forehead.
"Even we missed you, Aaron. Did you find any leads related to Alexander?" I asked. His expression and silence were enough for me to know the answer. I could feel his frustration and anger through the mate bond. I move my hand on his arms to calm him.
"I search for him everywhere day and night but the result is nothing. Don't know where that bastard is hiding.." He snarled. I recalled today's incident when I had an encounter with a warrior who had a similar scent as Alexander.
"Did you search our pack?" He looked at me, widening his eyes.
"What?"
"Maybe we are searching for Alexander in the entire world but he is in our pack" I muttered and sat straight, covering myself with a blanket. Aaron sat beside me to continue the conversation.
"We didn't search our pack, Aaron. Maybe Alexander is here only" He shook his head negatively.
"That's impossible, Aana. If he had been here then any pack would have caught him" He said.
"I agree with you, Aaron but don't know why I'm getting a feeling he is here only. We have been searching for him for one year but haven't found him. You only think it could be possible that he hid himself in this pack so that no one would be able to find him. He also knows we would search for him everywhere but not our house."
"Why are you so confident that he is in this pack? Did something happen in my absence?" I nodded my head in answer and started telling him about the incident when I felt someone was keeping an eye on us and also shared today's incident when I sensed Alexander's presence.
"Why didn't you tell me before that you're getting the feeling of someone watching you?" he growled.
"I thought it was my misconception until I saw that warrior today. I'm sorry" he sighed in disappointment.
"You think that warrior is Alexander?" He asked again.
"Yes," I replied. He went silent after my response. Maybe mindlinking someone. I waited for him to look at me. After a while, he finally turned his head towards me.
"I asked Patrick and my trusty warriors to search for Alexander in the pack secretly."
"Secretly"
"Yes. if Alexander is living here then he shouldn't get alert and we can catch him easily" I nod my head understanding his plan. He moves his hand over my arms to calm me through mate bond.
"Believe in the moon goddess. everything will be fine" I smiled and kissed his nose.
"If you're with me then nothing can bed happen" I yawned
"Let's sleep before pups wake up" he chuckled at my words. We both lay down on the bed. I again kept my hand on his chest while he was caressing my hair. I don't know when I dozed off in his arms for a beautiful sleep.
I opened my eyes when someone shook my body. a smile appeared on my face, knowing it was my mate who was trying to wake me up. I missed waking up by him.
"Aana wake up... Get up and freshen up. so that we can have breakfast together." I smiled and sat straight but my smile vanished when I saw Emma in his arms.
"Shoot.. How long did I sleep? How is her fever?" I asked. In the rush of getting down from bed, one of my legs got entangled.
"Aah," I hissed when my butt kissed the ground while he started laughing.
"Moron" I cursed him and stood up.
"Fuck" I look at him when he cursed, only to find him looking at me with desire. I ignored his gaze and touched Emma's forehead. Thankfully, her temperature is normal.
"She is fine" I took a relief breath. I turned my head towards Aaron when he didn't respond only to find his eyes down at my chest. I followed his gaze, only to realise I was standing naked in front of him.
"Aah" I almost screamed because of shyness and covered myself with a blanket.
"You're reacting as if I hadn't seen you naked before," He said, covering his ear.
"Why didn't you tell me I'm naked?" I yelled.
"A stupid person can only lose a chance to watch a show."
"It's useless to say anything to you," I said and ran towards the washroom, feeling shy. I heard him laughing from outside which made me laugh.
"You're stupid, Aana" I hit my forehead and on the shower to take a bath.

I was seated in the office with Aaron, checking the office files. Emma and Love are sleeping in their baby swings.
"Your guess was wrong" I turned my head towards Aaron confusingly.
"For the past two days, Patrick and my warriors have been searching for Alexander in a pack. He was not here." I shook my head, unable to understand whether I should be happy that this pack was safe for our pups or sad that we didn't catch Alexander.
"We will find him," He said, keeping his hand on my hand. I nodded my head and started thinking of ways to find him and that's when an excellent idea came into my mind.
"I know how to catch him" Aaron scrunched his eyebrow at my words.
"Alexander wants to destroy me. I'm sure he is just waiting for a perfect moment where he would find me alone to attack me or say to rape" I clamped up when Rex growled loudly.
"Rex" I stood up from my chair and went near him. Before I could have said something, he pulled me into his lap and attached his lips with mine, kissing me. I smiled, realising only I could tame this beast. I lovingly wiped lipstick from the corner of his lips after breaking the kiss.
"I was just telling you my plan to catch Alexander. We couldn't find him but we can create the situation because of which he will come out of his bill. He will surely come if he finds me alone" Before I could complete he again growled at me.
"What kind of man do you think I'm Aana?"
"Rex" I encircled my one hand around his neck and with the other I caressed his hair. "You're getting my words wrong, Rex. I was just explaining my plan.."
"Whatever" He scoffed and removed my hand from his hair.
"It's a good plan"
"No... it's not and no matter what you say, Aana. I'm not going to put your life in danger." He was calling me with my name which is enough for me to know he is pissed and not going to listen to me.
"Rex"
"We are not going to follow this plan and I don't want any further discussion on this topic" he said leaving no room for argument. I stood up from his lap and went directly into my room, pissed at him for not listening to me.
"He loves us," Alice muttered.
"I know but at least he should have given me a chance to explain my plan. He was not even ready to listen to me." I snarled and blocked Alice before she could start defending our mate. I went near the window and started looking outside. That's when my eyes went to a warrior whose face was not visible because of darkness and again I felt that he was no one but Alexander. Alice took control of my body and went outside the room to go near that warrior.
"Let's clear your doubt and if he is Alexander then today we will end his story" She growled. The moment we reached the garden where that warrior was standing but now there was no one. She started searching for him and then suddenly someone hugged her from behind.
"Aaron" Alice and I took a relieved breath when we realised it was our mate. He turned her towards him.
"Alice... you're in control," He asked shockingly. She nodded her head in response and then looked around for that warrior.
"What happened? Whom are you looking for?" he asked.
"No one" Alice replied and rested her head on Aaron's chest to calm herself. We both got scared when Aaron hugged us from behind.
"You're acting like you have seen a ghost" He laughed.
"He is worse than a ghost" Aaron distances himself from her and looks at her confusingly. Alice gave me control.
"What happened?"
"I saw that warrior again," I replied honestly. He looked at me, widening his eyes.
"No one is here except you and me," He said. I nod my head, knowing he used his senses which works five times as normal human beings.
"We will find him, Pearl"
"Yeah like we have been doing for the past year" I scoffed and pushed him away.
"Pearl" I ignored him and went directly towards his office where our pups were sleeping.
