Cynthia's dazzling golden hair undoubtedly turned heads on the street.
Add to that Cynthia's tall stature, and walking alongside Natsume-sensei, who stood just over six feet tall, they attracted quite a bit of attention.
"How do you usually go out in public?" Natsume asked Cynthia, who was wearing sunglasses beside him.
"By reserving the entire street," Cynthia frowned, "or buying a street just for shopping."
When Cynthia arrived in the Touran League, she was supposed to be greeted by officials from the Pokémon Association and escorted throughout her stay.
But Cynthia disliked such formalities, and since Natsume-sensei happened to be in Tokyo, she only asked him to pick her up.
As they reached the street, Cynthia asked curiously, "Are we taking a flying Pokémon?"
"No, we're taking a taxi."
Cynthia assumed Natsume didn't have a transport Pokémon. "I could give you a ride."
"I'm afraid of being shot down by anti-aircraft fire."
Flying openly within Tokyo City would probably lead to instant trouble?!
Cynthia nodded thoughtfully, "I almost forgot, Tokyo has air traffic control."
"Doesn't the Sinnoh Region have that?"
"No, you can even travel along the Mount Coronet and Mt. Silver ranges all the way to Kanto."
"That sounds pretty nice," Natsume was intrigued.
"Could save a lot on airfare!"
Cynthia smiled faintly.
What she didn't mention was that private planes usually only incur crew and fuel costs...
Natsume contacted the driver who had given him his card earlier.
The driver, thinking Natsume was trying to flee, rushed to the airport and was utterly astonished.
That was the only word to describe the driver's expression.
Cynthia's Japanese wasn't fluent, so she quietly gazed out the car window, gently stroking the dozing Eevee.
The tips of her golden hair brushed against the back of Natsume's hand, lightly fluttering.
Natsume felt an indescribable sensation.
"Foreigner?" the driver asked.
The driver suddenly felt sentimental, "Distance is no barrier to love! Those who can't grasp love can't even hold a Poké Ball!"
Every driver has countless stories.
But just as the driver slapped the steering wheel, ready to pour his heart out, they arrived at their destination.
"Ah..." the driver looked quite regretful.
"There will be other chances."
Natsume patted the driver's shoulder and nodded firmly.
Leaning out the window, the driver tearfully shouted, "You two must be happy!"
"What's he saying?" Cynthia asked Natsume.
"In Touran, tipping isn't customary. You gave too much."
"I'll reimburse you later."
The quiet, serene shade of the trees and the peaceful, leisurely atmosphere contrasted with the somewhat dilapidated houses in this old neighborhood.
"You live here?" Cynthia looked around.
"The rent is cheap here."
"Great seclusion in the city, I've heard Professor Rowan mention this proverb."
"If you really think so... I can't argue..."
Haunter was the first to insert its hand into the door, eagerly unlocking it.
Cynthia officially stepped into Natsume's home.
"Should I take off my shoes?"
Natsume instinctively glanced at Cynthia's high heels, his tone somewhat regretful, "No need."
To diagnose Eevee's stress response, the first step was to rule out environmental influences.
Cynthia had already scanned the area; it didn't seem like there were any natural predators of Eevee around.
If anything... Eevee is an omnivore, and it's the local Pokémon that should be more afraid.
"Don't worry, it'll be over soon."
Cynthia took out a portable stethoscope from her bag and placed it on Eevee's chest.
The little one blushed, reluctantly lying on the ground.
Natsume suddenly felt a pang of sadness.

How come you're when a stranger comes?
"Natsume-sensei, could you take care of my other Pokémon for now?"
"Oh... huh? What Pokémon?"
Natsume was startled, and when he realized, his expression changed.
Red lights flickered, and the narrow living room suddenly became lively.
All six of Cynthia's Pokémon made their appearance, and Natsume's situation looked quite precarious.
Garchomp, with its crimson eyes and menacing aura;
Lucario, arms crossed, with a cold gaze.
These two imposing Pokémon flanked Natsume, their gazes filled with scrutiny.
"Haunter?! Σ(°△°|||)︴"
Haunter looked terrified.
These two big guys... they look really fierce!
What to do, the Trainer is about to be eaten, online help, it's urgent!
But Natsume was somewhat prepared.
After a moment of contemplation, Natsume pulled out a jar of crystal-clear, gem-like Pokéblocks from the cabinet.
Carefully moving aside the scythe that was dangerously close, Natsume wiped his cold sweat, "want some candy?"
Garchomp and Lucario exchanged glances.
Then, the two Champion-level Pokémon stiffened their necks and nodded in unison.
"They're quite well-behaved."
Tucking a strand of golden hair behind her ear, Cynthia smiled and petted Eevee on her lap.
Eevee wagged its tail, then decided it wasn't appropriate and buried its little head in Cynthia's lap.
"It's very healthy, the Anticipation ability even enhances its reflexes."
Cynthia said softly, "The training is quite impressive..."
Even Cynthia couldn't immediately gauge Natsume-sensei's strength.
Strategically, he was on par with her.
Although his Pokémon's strength was weak, his breeding methods and training techniques were top-notch.
The way he bred Haunter was somewhat similar to Grandma Agatha's methods.
And this Eevee had a hint of Red's Espeon about it.
Coupled with Natsume's statement about not wanting to be a Trainer...
"It's quite interesting..." Cynthia smiled faintly.
Brushing aside her golden hair, Cynthia looked up.
Only then did the fully focused Cynthia notice the unusual behavior of her Pokémon.
Garchomp, who usually had a 'keep away' demeanor, was now laughing and joking with Haunter, its image completely shattered.
The aloof Lucario was moving at lightning speed, rapidly tossing Pokéblocks from the jar into its mouth.
In no time, the once full jar of Pokéblocks was completely empty...
Cynthia was slightly taken aback.
I usually buy you Pokéblocks, but I've never seen you enjoy them this much!
The slimy Gastrodon was crawling along the wall towards the ceiling, and Natsume let out a cry:
"Stop! I just painted that wall!"
Gastrodon gave Natsume a disdainful glance and continued to Creeping, leaving deep corrosive marks on the wall...
Natsume felt like he could hear his wallet shrinking.
"It's okay... I'll reimburse you."
Walking over to the defeated Natsume-sensei, Cynthia slowly crouched down and picked up the scattered Pokéblocks.
The crystal-clear Oran Berry Blocks, like blue gemstones, even reflected a faint glow.
A look of surprise crossed Cynthia's beautiful eyes:
