These companies were clearly eyeing the potential of the new game, hence their early interest.
Kazuya nodded. "I thought the same. Only two companies proposed a revenue share."
"Piplup Inc. wants to buy out our entire studio for 5,000,000 Pokémon Coins, with a 5% performance bonus."
"Devon Corporation is offering 2,000,000 Pokémon Coins for the overseas distribution and mobile game rights, plus a 20% revenue share."
Natsume was momentarily stunned.

If they see a game they like, they just buy the whole studio!
"I think cash is the most reliable," Kazuya whispered.
"Should we go with Piplup Inc.?"
Natsume pondered for a moment.
Mobile games were the future of the market.

Besides, Natsume didn't have the energy to tackle overseas markets right now. Entrusting it to Devon Corporation seemed like a win-win.

The lobby floor was polished to a shine, with luxurious sofas and expensive greenery adorning the space.
The bustling crowd of well-dressed businesspeople made Kazuya even more nervous.
The receptionist led Natsume and Kazuya to the meeting room.
The accountant and manager immediately stood up to greet them, bowing slightly and shaking hands.
The manager said respectfully, "Mr. Natsume, we've heard so much about you!"
"You know who I am?" Natsume was surprised.
"The Vice President specifically instructed us that Mr. Natsume is a Trainer of formidable strength and that we should treat you with the utmost respect."
The manager smiled. "I never expected Mr. Natsume to be so young. Truly, a dragon among men!"
