Misty smiled. "Is this about the Type Expert Tournament? I've just accepted a position on the Judges' Panel for the Water type."
Brock shook his head.
"It's something else. It's about a Squirtle belonging to a Breeding Master."
"Squirtle?" Misty was surprised. "A new Pokédex Holder?"
The burly man crossed his arms, pondered for a moment, and then nodded. "Could be."
"Anyway, I recommended you to Natsume-sensei…"
Misty blinked. "Natsume-sensei!"
"I mentioned him to Sister Lorelei before," Misty said with a smile. "That video on the Perish Song Strategy gave me a lot of inspiration!"
Brock nodded. "That's great. The group will have more to discuss then."
"What group?" Misty was slightly puzzled.
As she spoke, she glanced down at her mobile phone, and her face immediately turned red.
To avoid any awkwardness, she had even deleted Red's contact information. She never expected it to come up …
Misty's face flushed as she carefully considered her words. "How… how are he and Yellow doing?"
"They're doing well," Brock, the straight-shooting guy, nodded. "We're all followers of Natsume-sensei."

Natsume's breath hitched.
"I… don't think I need that right now."
"That's fine, you can keep it for now," Misty said with a smile.
"Maybe the Pokémon can train on its own!"
"Uh… not funny? It's a pretty famous joke in Kanto…"
Misty seemed to realize her joke fell flat and awkwardly chuckled.
Natsume's expression turned strange.
His biggest fear was that Misty's words might come true.
And this so-called "joke" had already happened to him several times…
Natsume sighed deeply.
"Why do I feel like paying off that five million Pokémon Coins is becoming more and more impossible?"
After receiving the Water Pulse Move manuals from Misty.

Squirtle was confused.

When the ones stronger than you are also working harder, life just isn't fair!
Eevee tapped twice on Squirtle's hard shell, its eyes sparkling with a friendly smile.
For once, Natsume wasn't woken up by Eevee stepping on him.
He stretched, feeling refreshed, and got out of bed.
When he lifted the blanket, he wasn't surprised to find Eevee still fast asleep.
The little one looked so peaceful and cute in its sleep that Natsume couldn't resist poking its paw pads, only to have it swat his hand away.
Natsume couldn't help but smile.
But the next second, when Natsume looked at Squirtle, he was startled. "What the—?"
Squirtle, bruised and battered, poked its head out of its shell and waved at Natsume.
Natsume's expression turned odd as he thought about his Pokémon's late-night training habits. He muttered:
"Looks like Eevee really likes you… This is just its way of saying hello…"
"But this is ridiculous!" Natsume said, annoyed.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle nodded tearfully, clearly moved.
"At least use Withdraw!" Natsume scolded, exasperated.
"Take a few more hits, and maybe you'll learn Iron Defense or something!"
"Squirtle?! Σ(°△°|||)︴"
