The meteorite changed and began emitting a faint halo, which was something that happened later, so the question is, how did such an unremarkable stone attract Altaria’s attention at first, prompting it to pick it up and eventually give it to Terrance as a parting gift?
Upon seeing the mysterious meteorite, which had undergone significant changes, “Altaria’s” eyes emitted an indescribable radiance, involuntarily emitting a high-pitched cry.
Then, its cotton-like wings flapped slowly, lifting her into the air. She glanced at Terrance and flew off in the distance.
“Follow it.” Terrance also sat on Altaria, his heels close to the other’s. “It must be taking us to the place where the meteorite was found, right?”
Terrance was curious about the origin of this meteorite.
“Is this direction towards Rustboro City?” As they flew, they followed the mountain range of Mt. Chimney and flew to the southwest. In just a few minutes, the Altaria in front of them stopped.
The path here looked treacherous. It would probably take some effort to climb it manually. Without special training, it would be difficult to navigate through this place smoothly.
From high above, Terrance noticed the uniqueness of this place.

So, for the relatively small and almost closed-off Fallarbor Town at that time, this incident remained a highly discussed issue.
Various versions of legends became stories told by the older generation, passed down as one of the magical tales to entertain children.
But as awareness increased, the place where the meteorite fell years ago was given a name.
Then, as some Pokémon began to return here, using it as a habitat, especially the center where the meteorite fell. Due to its rich extraterrestrial energy, and also liked by some Pokémon, the environment here changed again, gradually evolving into a cave.
What Terrance doesn’t know is that recently there have also been efforts to develop the Meteor Crater, but unfortunately, it’s already home to a considerable population of Pokémon, including some strange Psychic-Type Pokémon, so the development has been temporarily halted.
But as this place was classified as a developable area with high resource value, it was granted a new name by the League.
Due to the distinctive environment it spawned, a waterfall, it was given a legally significant name.
“So, that meteorite was picked up by ‘Altaria’ from this Meteor Crater.”
Terrance was slightly surprised, then he instructed Altaria to land before observing the environment here.
Terrance wanted to see if he could pick up another similar meteorite, but he quickly gave up. Looking around, it was desolate, although there were rugged rocks everywhere, there were hardly any traces of meteorites in sight.
And the ruggedness of the road wasn’t just talk. The deeper he ventured into the cave, the dimmer the environment became, coupled with the uneven terrain, providing Terrance with a more tangible experience.
Coupled with the constant sound of flowing water in his ears, Terrance immediately concluded that this was not a safe place. If he stayed here for a few days, he wouldn’t even know how he’d die.
