Itachi would kill the entire clan tonight. He’d have all the eyes he needed.

Danzo walked step by step toward the broken body, letting out a cold, mocking laugh.

Hatake Satoru held the Sharingan loosely in his hand. Behind the mask, his face twisted with excitement, the corners of his mouth pulling into a wide, uncontrollable grin. Then he burst into loud, booming laughter.
"Hahahaha... hahahaha!"
"Aren’t you supposed to be the experienced one?!"
"Kill me—was that your plan?"
Hatake Satoru lunged forward and kicked Danzo hard in the chest. Danzo had just lost his Sharingan; the pain in his socket was still throbbing. He couldn’t dodge in time and took the full force of the kick.
Hatake Satoru rolled his neck, the joints cracking loudly with sharp pops.
He suddenly raised one hand. A pale blue aura burst outward, and the scattered stones around them floated into the air.
With a deafening crash, all the stones smashed into Danzo, pinning him to the wall.
Hatake Satoru’s figure vanished midair.
Whether that guy lived or died didn’t matter—he was never getting a single Uchiha eye.
He couldn’t even take on Sasuke with a whole arm. Now that he’d lost the Sharingan in that arm, Danzo was nothing but an old man with a bit of power.
Once Hatake Satoru trained up others his age, replacing these geezers would be a piece of cake.
Laughter rumbled from Hatake Satoru’s throat.
Maybe it was a side effect of the reverse technique, but after regenerating, he felt amazing.
Bones, muscles, blood—everything had been rebuilt.

Danzo leaned on some rubble, panting for a while before standing up.
He frowned deeply as he looked in the direction of the Uchiha compound.
"Head to the Uchiha district!"
"If you see that masked man, kill him on sight!"
The few remaining Root agents instantly vanished.
By the time Hatake Satoru left the Root base, the sun had completely set, and the last bits of sunlight were fading away.
He stretched his arms and legs as he walked through the forest toward the Uchiha clan’s area.
"Help me protect the clan..."
He hadn’t gone far when he heard a familiar voice.
Hatake Satoru stood on a nearby tree branch, quietly listening to the conversation happening in the woods.
"As long as you’re alive, I won’t hurt your little brother."
Satoru looked up slightly. The last rays of sunlight lit up the face of the man standing next to Itachi.
Long messy hair behind him, and a mask with tiger-like stripes that only had a single hole to see through.
The light flickered quickly across the mask before the forest fell into complete darkness.
