I started walking away from him toward Magdalena's house. I walked so fast that my legs started to hurt halfway there and then I stopped, near an iron gate of someone's house, I knelt on the ground and wept desperately, with disgust, hatred, a horrendous mixture of feelings.
How could someone be able to poison a person, or even an animal? That is wrong! An innocent person who only inherited his father's money? My worst fear was that even after I revealed the truth to him, he was already sick enough that there was no cure, it had been killing me since I found out and I urgently needed to see him.
I waited another half hour for Hayden to disappear from the area and started walking towards my love's house, along the way not being able to think if he wouldn't be upset that I would show up at his house that night. But I didn't care, after all, he had done the same and the house wasn't even mine.

The following moments were of total distress and hatred, for everything we heard and even though I already knew everything, my anger only increased. As soon as the recording dialogue ended, I saw the man I loved sitting on the couch with visible difficulty in breathing.

His pain was mine too and I could feel what he was feeling at that moment. My heart broke at the image of him in anguish and feeling defeated, deceived. I wanted to be the cure for it all for him, I wanted to be the escape, the hope for him.
So I gave you the only thing I could. My love.
"Lazzaro, I love you." Even if now is not the appropriate time to say it, but I love you very, very much.
