When I woke up on Monday morning, the room seemed deserted, Sean’s side of the bed was empty leaving me alone on the bed. I closed my eyes feeling disappointed, why is Sean behaving like this?? The needle of disappointment stabbed deeper and deeper into my heart and it hurt. I got up and got out of bed and rushed to take a shower after that dressed, wearing black mesh stockings with a coat of the same color as my stockings, a belt around my waist and then wearing maroon ankle boots. I pulled my hair up slightly, then grabbed my handbag the same color as my shoes. Sean came in when I was ready, I bowed and then walked away, but he grabbed my arm as I was about to pass him.
“Change your stockings,” he ordered which I immediately rewarded with a look of surprise and protest.
“No, I’m leaving now,” I said and tried to let go of his grip on my arm but he strengthened it.
“I won’t let you out until you change your stockings.”
I chuckle while rolling my eyes, are we going to argue about stockings now?? Oh Lord! I don’t have time for this.
“It’s just stockings!!” I said angrily looking at him, what’s the matter with this guy??
“You look hot in those stockings, and I don’t want you to give that kind of view to people out there especially men.”
I exhaled loudly through my mouth. Damn Sean with his jealous attitude, his grip on my arm released, I immediately turned towards the edge of the bed taking off my boots and stockings, then stepped into my wall in closet, took off the clothes I was wearing and re-selected another outfit. I chose a black pencil skirt that reached to mid-calf with velvet lining the outside, wore a quarter-sleeved shirt top with dark blue vertical stripes, while the base was pale blue with orange tulips embroidered on the right chest. I chose black higheels as my footwear and replaced my bag with the same color as my shirt, Sean was waiting near our bedroom door, when I walked over to him he was ready to go to the office in his maroon suit.
“We go together.”
“No, I’m using my Ferrari,” I said immediately, after school I’m going to stop by Eden’s cafe, it’s twins Glen and Gwen’s birthday today, I received a what’s up message from Carmen last night when I was on my way home from my mom’s house to apartment.
“Are you going somewhere?” he guessed and I nodded.
“Where to?”
I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye, he was looking at me curiously.
“Eden’s twins are birthdays, I promised I’ll be there this afternoon after work.”
I ventured to look at his face, we fell silent and stared at each other. Finally he was the first to break eye contact with his head down.
“Okay, be careful driving,” he ordered then I left, his attitude that seemed to keep his distance from me really hurt me, I had to find the right time to start our conversation again. I had breakfast with him before leaving, no one spoke while we ate our breakfast, I finished mine quickly, no kisses as usual when we were about to leave for work and my heart was scratched. I left the kitchen feeling hurt, he’s really keeping his distance, does that mean he’s trying not to care too much?? While in the elevator, I leaned against the wall with my eyes closed. It hurts so bad to think about that possibility, does this mean I have to prepare for ... I immediately stopped my thoughts that could potentially turn my day for the worse. I started the Ferrari engine, then stepped on the pedal slowly and immediately left the basement.

“Yes… No Agatha, we don’t need that… Yes, just send them all to my email.”
I had just arrived when I heard Sean calling his secretary Agatha, when he finished we stared at each other in the middle of this large room. I know he’s very angry right now.
“Where have you been??!!” he asked with an angry expression on his face, I swallowed my saliva roughly and bowed my head. My cell phone died because it ran out of power so I couldn’t give him any news, even though we still kept our distance because of the ‘kid’ problem that wasn’t completely resolved, but I never missed telling him how I was.
“My phone is lobet, sorry,” I said then ventured to look at him, his gaze softening a sigh of relief coming from him, then he came over to me his hand lifted to my face the back of his finger caressed my cheek.
“I can go crazy if I’m worried,” he said which I responded with a nod, I understand with this one attitude before we got married I’ve seen him in a worried state.
“Can we talk about yesterday’s matter??”
For the sake of Thanos and his infinity gauntlet, this kind of silence and distance from each other is useless to me, it actually tortures me. Sean stared at me in silence for a moment then nodded, a look of doubt and misgivings in his golden net.
“In my workspace,” he said then I went to our room to change clothes, I breathed a sigh of relief as we closed the door to our room, a relief. Thanks, God! He wanted to speak, My Inner Goddess breathed a sigh of relief and slumped on her red sofa, my senses staring at me with her wise smile. I rushed to Sean’s study after changing clothes, braced myself before going inside, My Inner Goddess tightly gripped the round vibranium shield with Medusa’s head in the middle, she looked ready by putting on her armor and standing in front of her red sofa with a smile on her face. Ready to fight like the troops in Three Hundred, while my mind sat in his leather chair with a serious expression, waiting.
I exhaled once more to really convince and brace myself, then turned the door hinge and pushed it, my handsome husband was standing facing the glass window looking down, he put his hands in his pants pocket, his body fit suit was already worn. Draped in one corner of his leather chair both sleeves rolled up to his elbows, I entered and closed the door he turned to me as I stepped closer towards him, I stopped when we were only two steps away.
