My blood immediately cooled, oh my God, he’s here, how can he be here?? My mind screamed out Sean’s name, I just didn’t move, fear gripped my stomach and I felt my body turn to stone.
“What do you want, Ariel?”
My voice trembled, his free hand caressed my buttocks then up to my waist, my stomach immediately swelled with disgust at the thought of his touch sensation on my body.

I screamed in frustration as his hands were under my breasts, I purposely asked in a loud voice to distract him and hope that Sean or Sam could hear my voice. Ariel hissed sharply near my ear, the tip of the knife pressed against the skin of my neck. His hands leave my body, he holds me by placing his arms in front of my neck so I choke a bit from it.

Ariel took me with her steps past the granite table where we had dinner, then stopped when we were about five steps from where Sean and Sam were standing, the tip of the knife hurting my skin a little and feeling cold, my blood seemed to freeze inside me, the knife could punch a hole in my neck at any moment. Just a little mistake and I’ll end up as a corpse, my mind mumbled a wish to save me from this.

Ariel’s body retreated a few inches from me I heard him groan in pain, my elbow hit the bottom of his ribs, his arm loosened around my neck and the knife fell from his hand due to my unexpected attack, I kicked the knife away from him after that I ran towards Sean, he grabbed me and wrapped me in both his arms, I took a deep breath of oxygen to quickly fill my lungs which seemed to be constricting due to not getting oxygen supply for a long time.
Sam swiftly ran to Ariel, heard the bastard grimacing and screaming in pain I don’t know what Sam did to him because my face sank into Sean’s chest, he kissed the top of my head repeatedly to calm me down.
I sat on the edge of the bed with my mind blank, Sean called the police after he took me to our room, I don’t know what was going on out there this tension seemed to turn my bones into jelly. I twisted my fingers that were on my lap and looked down at him, I heard the door open and close. Sean squatted down in front of me then took my hand and held it.
“Everything is safe now,” he said and my defenses faltered I cried again, this incident made me depressed. Sean moved close to me then took me into his arms, he stroked my hair kissing the top of my head many times then he rested his chin on the top of my head.
His body warms me, dispelling the fear that I feel my tears subside and my feelings gradually improve, I move so Sean loosens his arms he grabs my face and places it between his hands, his thumb wipes the tears on my face, he gives me the charming smile of a Sean Al-Jariz.
“You are my brave girl, we have to rest now tomorrow is an important day.”
He pulled a few strands of my hair behind my ear, I nodded and climbed into bed while Sean walked to the door and turned off the main light switch so that only the yellow night light illuminates our room, he followed me into bed, I took my favorite position , lying on his chest and listening to his heartbeat which is my favorite rhythm.

“Yeah, I’m scared too but it won’t happen again, now go to sleep,” he ordered and I obeyed closing my eyes even though my mind was full, I inhaled his scent which I liked and always managed to calm me down when my mind was confused, he was like a medicine for all anxiety and feelings my pain, his arms wrapped around me giving me warmth so I fell asleep feeling peaceful.
