“You’re mad??”
Of course he was angry, My Inner Goddess rolled her eyes in annoyance, I grabbed her hand and then grabbed it and kissed it, I leaned my head on his shoulder and heard him exhale sharply.
“I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.” I smiled at his disturbing level of concern.
“Nothing will happen to me, you are here with me right??!” I propped my chin on his shoulder and looked at him, it made him turn to look at me he kissed my forehead then the tip of my nose, his hand caressed my cheek I smiled reassuringly he nodded.
“I’m always here with you, always.”
I rest my head on his shoulder again, I hug his arm tightly to reassure him, his lips kiss the top of my head.
Caroline called me and complained about my absence from the preparations for her wedding, I apologized to her but she sounded forced to forgive me, I laughed at her desperate hope I could meet her on Saturday. I rushed to take a warm bath after listening to the long complaint of the queen who wanted to know everything, I looked at my face in the mirror and the image of Ariel’s unpleasant smile flashed through my mind. Maybe I should heed Sean’s warning about the guy, put the thought of Ariel out of my mind, then get out of the bathroom. Sean had been locked in his study for a long time. I looked at him anxiously, he looked confused and fragile then he turned his body to face me his arms hugged me tightly, I opened my arms and hugged him back absorbing all the worries, anxiety, and all the unpleasant feelings he felt. His nose buried in my hair, I inhaled his heavenly scent and filled every cavity inside me with it. We stood with this attitude for a while, without speaking, I didn’t want to start any topics I wanted to give him a chance to enjoy the moment if that’s what he needed.
