Unlucky!
This morning I was a little late, in a hurry I immediately took a shower without shampooing after choosing clothes. Sean walks in, I’m still mad at him but I don’t have time to argue with him right now. I put on my underwear in a hurry then looked for my stockings after that immediately put them on.
“Ariana, please I don’t want to be like this.” Sean started, I don’t have time for this I don’t respond. My hands are busy sorting clothes.
“Ariana.”
The movement of my hand stopped when Sean stood right beside me facing me.
“I don’t have time to talk about this, Sean, I’m late,” I said frustrated, I chose a quarter sleeve shirt and a navy blue skirt, another reason because I didn’t want to talk about this issue, I was starting to get tired of discussing this and that issue. Just. I put on the top and then the skirt in front of the dressing table.
Sean seemed to be standing behind me as I got dressed, I just glanced at him then focused on my face.
“I promise not to mention Atika again.”
I snorted at his words, I don’t need promises I need proof and that bitch is like a tick that sticks to my husband.
“Don’t promise me promise yourself, I’ve heard of it.”
I walked away then took my Ferrari car keys, with half running I left our room through the living room to the main door and immediately got into the elevator. To hell with Sean and his ex-girlfriend, if he can’t get that woman out of our lives I will do it myself. My Inner Goddess smiled slyly while my senses stared at me in horror.
This Ferrari really helped me arrive a little faster, so I was only five minutes late, work distracting me for a moment from Sean and Atika’s problems. Class ended quickly, one class was finished, only one more class to start after lunch, Hannah came over to me.
“There’s someone who wants to meet you,” she told me, I looked at her questioningly.
“You’ll see for yourself, she’s in front of your room.”
I rushed to my room, and when I almost arrived Atika was standing in front of my door. What do you want that woman? I rolled my eyes and walked over to her, it was going to be a tiring day.
“What do you need?” I asked without further ado, oh my God, it’s sickening me to be met by my husband’s ex-girlfriend.
“I want to talk please.”
We finally went into my room and sat on the sofa. I waited for her to speak she looked nervous.
“I’m pregnant,” she said and I knew it, I just didn’t want to interrupt, where was this conversation going?? I’m getting impatient.
“I have no one but Sean, I want him to help me raise my child.”
My heart fell at my feet, Damn! Why can’t this woman let Sean go?? Yes, God, it hurts so much when your husband’s ex-lover asks your permission to let your husband come to raise her child, I looked at her trying to calm down even though I really wanted to throw her out.
“No, I won’t allow it,” I say firmly, anger slowly overtaking me and then she sobs and begs me. I have no reason to feel sorry for her, I’m sick of her being the subject of many fights with Sean.
“Now go away, you’re just wasting your time here.”
“But this child is Sean’s child.”
I closed my eyes in frustration, oh my God, what kind of lie is this?? I knew she was lying because I trusted Sean.
“Go away, Atika, I don’t care if it’s Sean’s son or not, leave this place before I drag you,” I threatened with anger, she swallowed her saliva roughly then got up from her seat, then left my room, I leaned back frustratedly on the back of the sofa, I massaged my forehead felt dizzy and I finally cried, straightened my back then covered my face with both my hands my tears broke, can’t this pass quickly?? It’s tiring, every time this problem comes, I always want to give up.
I was surprised when the door to my room was opened violently by someone, I recognized Sean when the man said my name.
“Damn! Ana, what happened?? Where is Atika?? Did she hurt you??”
I didn’t answer all these questions, I just cried, when Sean was about to hug me I kept away from him.
“Go! I need to be alone,” I shooed away without seeing his face, I wiped the tears on my face roughly, why is he here??
“I’m worried about you,” he answered my thoughts, I just didn’t move where I was we were silent for a while. My mind is messed up, all of this makes my head feel like it’s about to explode.
“Ana, talk.” Sean broke the silence between us I didn’t know what to say. My heart aches and my mind is full, my finger touches our wedding ring my gaze falls on it, spins it around my finger, should I give up?? It hurts to think about it when I’m in a state of love and have to choose to let go, NO!! My Inner Goddess snapped with my senses, what was I thinking?? He needs me he loves me. I strengthened myself by chanting the spell, then turned to look at him his eyes expressed sadness, fear and anxiety I moved towards him, I grabbed his hand and held it, my heart cracked every time he looked at me with that look, I can’t leave him no matter what I’ll stay on his side.
“Please, don’t make me give up.”
Emotions gathered quickly in my throat like a big lump. Sean grabbed my hand and squeezed it, I put my head on his shoulder, tears welled up again, he leaned his cheek against my head which was on his shoulder.
“This won’t happen again, I promise.”
