Various questions arise in my mind, how big is this problem?? It’s unusual for a Caroline to be interested in a problem, this must have really grabbed her attention.
“Yes, I heard it, what do you know about it?”
I wonder how much Caroline knows about this, I assume Sean is hiding something about this.
“Sean didn’t tell you?”
Oh, shit! What did I miss?? I answered Caroline’s question impatiently and immediately held her up to tell me immediately.
“Someone tracked your car on purpose, the culprit is still unknown.”
This is surprising, but why didn’t Sean tell me?? This is my car, I have a right to know what happened to me.
“Where did you get this information from?” Caroline always found a way to get valid and accurate information, I could hear her breath and my heart was pounding with tension.
“I used your car when mine went to the garage, Sam gave me the keys, I parked your car in the studio yard, when I was going home it was in a terrible state.”
My heart jumped into my mouth. This was beyond my expectations, my anger towards Sean which had subsided had returned.
“Are you okay??” I suddenly wanted to meet Caroline, I was worried about her.
“Yeah I’m fine, luckily I wasn’t in the car when someone attacked him, I called Sam right away.”
My eyes closed with anger, how dare Sean hide this from me, exhaled loudly. I had to ask for an explanation for his overt openness.
“Okay, I have to go, Andrew is waiting for me, bye, I miss you,” said Caroline, I had time to say her last sentence too when she was about to end our conversation. I tucked my phone into the back pocket of my jeans, then I turned and leaned my ass against the balcony railing.
“Think of something?”
Sean was standing near the balcony’s glass door, I folded my arms in front of my chest and looked at him with a piercing gaze.
“Why didn’t you tell me the truth?”
I threw a question upon his question. Sean looked confused, but I gave him a ‘tell-me-i-need-hear’ look. Sean approached me his expression unreadable.
“Caroline is fine.”
I chuckle with anger, I turn my face he’s completely hiding this from me.
“Someone might be after you and I’m trying not to scare you.”
I gasped, the blood slowly receded from my head, someone was after me?? Why?? I still can’t stand him hiding this from me. The back of his fingers caressed my cheek I knew my body betrayed me because of this touch.
“You are very precious to me Ana, I will not let anyone hurt you.”
I softened a bit, then I stared at his golden net that gleamed in the dim light of this balcony.
“You’re going to hurt me if you’re not honest with me, I’m a part of your life, and you act like you want to keep me out of your life by not opening up to me.”
I looked at Sean and he looked surprised, fear welled up in his golden nets, I reached for both of his hands which were currently in the pockets of his jeans. I have to make him understand what kind of relationship we want to be in, I know he is worried about me but I don’t want that reason to be the main reason he is hiding something from me, it’s not fair.
“We have to go through this together,” I added, then I pulled him closer to me, I hugged him with all my love, Sean hugged me back he buried his nose in my hair.
“Sorry.”
My hugs tightened and I cried, I hate to hear him always like this always feel guilty, I didn’t mean to make him feel that way.
“Don’t apologize,” I said between sobs, I wanted him to learn with me about our relationship.
“Don’t cry, Ana, please, I will try for our relationship.”
I can’t stop crying, I don’t know what happened to me, but right now I’m very emotional and I curse myself for this disturbing feeling. I looked up to look at him, he wiped the tears from my face with his thumb and then kissed my forehead. Oh God! I love this man, then he kissed my wet eyes.
“I didn’t know you were so whiny, Mrs Valentino,” he said with our foreheads pressed together, I laughed in my melancholy, I don’t know what’s going on with me but it really bothers me. Sean gently bit my nose and tugged gently.
“Let’s go out for a walk, tomorrow we have to leave for Germany.”
I opened my eyes and looked at him curiously, I thought we were three days in Rome.
“There’s a problem at headquarters, sorry we have to cancel the opera.” Sean looks sorry and also angry(?) Why is he angry?? Are the affairs at the head office bothering him so much? I gave him my understanding smile.
“We can come back one day.” I tried to comfort him, his lips kissed me expertly, I was like being dragged by a very strong current, he could lose my mind just by kissing me. He wipes my wet lips with his thumb from our kiss, I burn with his dazzling gaze, Sean Valentino Valentino’s loving gaze.
“I love you.”
That sentence is the sun that warms every side of me. We left the balcony and went out to enjoy the city of Venice at night.
