Chapter 276 Turning your face
The kidnapper not only feared that Alex would have called the police but also feared his men.
What concerned Alex the most, was the safety of Elly. Different conditions were offered because all the demands of the other party were compromised. "I need to know if next summer will be safe," Asked Alex. "I want to speak with Elly, give her the phone."
Deciding to take a passive outlook regarding the situation will not change the strong character and mantra of his superiors.
The man with the beard appeared to be uncomfortable. By now, he thought that he would have collected the money in his hand. He walked up to Elly and said, "You are now free to eat."
"Talk to your man."
Elly wiped her mouth, slowly picked up the phone, and glanced at the displeased man with the beard. His voice became soft again. "I am fine and now feeling much better, knowing that you are ok."
Alex felt much more stable when he heard her voice. His usually dull voice, once again, became very warm and assuring. "I guarantee that you will be saved in the shortest possible time."
By Alex's words, Elly felt that a promise was formed and confirmed. Her eyes winked happily. The phone was suddenly dragged from her hand before she could say another word.
The bearded man's voice sounded harsh. "Do not intimidate or annoy us here. If you do as you are required and give us enough money, I promise that you will get back your woman without her being harmed. "
Elly did not believe what he said, "Because you have seen our faces, it is very dangerous for us to let you go, so for your sake do not do anything stupid."
Elly pondered in her heart as she watched the bushy-bearded man hang up the phone and the others return to the top row. They seemed to have confidence in taking advantage of defenseless people like her.

Deep down, Elly felt that she had discovered who the traitor was, but she needed more evidence, or she could lose the scent of the traitor completely. From what she observed, these people were careless and would only risk their lives instead of trying to control their thoughts and act cautiously, as to not getting caught.

A clever person like you; can you guess who I am referring to? Elly glared and smiled. "I guess it was in her."
He was surprised by Elly's deliberate emphasis on her rather than him. The bearded man suddenly felt somewhat sorry for her. Mockingbird is like a couple spending a lot of money to understand a person's heart, even if you are kind to them, someone will always betray you.

"You were kidnapped, but you did not cry, neither did you try todid not run away, nor did not get into trouble, and you complained that you wanted food. You would not have been being angry unless you knew you have been betrayed."
Elly giggled and staggered in front of him with were index finger up.
"I am not a special person. It is just that my man is rich. If we can solve the problem with money, then why worry? I do not hold a grudge against you because people like you who risk their lives only want money. Why is it so complicated when trading is so easy?"
"You look confident. Are you not afraid that we will take the money to keep it a secret?"
Elly nodded in support of what was said. "I believe that those who are going to get the money will not be stupid enough to commit murder so that they cannot go to prison."
The man with a thick beard looked at her without saying a word, but secretly admired the confidence and courage this young woman had.
That night, he called Emily Russel and made a public announcement after a discussion with the other kidnappers.

Realizing that they would not answer she stared at the black cell phone, then rushed angrily to her bed. She beat and kicked the sheets and her pillow until the feathers flew across the room.
After releasing her anger, her entire house was in chaos. Emily Russel's room turned white, and her hair was like a nest, lying in bed in high spirits. Her face turned white and her eyes were full of hatred. She planned to run away with the money and find a way out for herself, but those bastards betrayed her.
"Now that the money was gone, if Elly found out, die sooner or later." She was out of breath and muttered to herself. All right, you are not willing to consider what I am saying, do not blame me for what is about to happen, you scumbags."
Alex did not go back to the priest's house all night.
Early the next morning, Emily Russel suddenly appeared in Alex's head office. She looked at his anxious and tired expression and felt satisfied, but there was a worried look on her face.
She placed a suitcase on Alex's desk, and he frowned.
