It was a normal day in Patel household. VR was reading a newspaper sitting in the living room and taking sips from his morning tea. Sanjay and Srilekha had gone for a walk while Orni was busy reading a religious holy book.
Roman and Rion came out of their room before Orni could deliver her lecture to them. They are already bored by their teacher's lectures so they don't need extras. They know if they wake up late then their mother will lecture them the whole day.
" Good morning, Dad," Roman said letting out a big yawn.
Rion said shortly," Morning."
" Morning, chams. I need to talk to you," VR told the boys who didn't look that much interested in VR's words. They knew he will surely start talking about their studies.
It's been months since VR started living with Orni. It did not take a lot of time for Sanjay and Srilekha to accept VR. In front of their daughter's happiness, they gave up. The same thing happened with Shivansh. He had to accept VR for Orni's happiness. Though at first, he didn't let VR meet Neela, eventually he gave up again because of Orni. Now, everything was going pretty well between VR and Neela. She also started calling him Daddy just like she used to.
VR started reviving his father's land business. He didn't want to live like a burden on Orni. Over time, everything started getting normal in the Patel household.
VR asked the boys," Your girlfriends................
Roman spit out the water that he was drinking and Rion gulped down looking at VR with shocked eyes.
" What? Do you stalk us, Dad?" Roman inquired.
Rion requested," Don't tell Mumma."
" I heard that you guys aren't serious about your relationship. If you are not then break up. Don't let the girls have false hope. It's not a good thing to break someone's heart," VR advised the boys who agreed with their father.
VR's eyes caught Orni who was grinning silently looking at VR. He has no idea when she came here. He walked near her and circled his hands around her waist.
" Why are you smiling?" VR asked moving close to her lips.
Orni chuckled," Nothing. I was just getting emotional."
" Why?" VR questioned.
Orni sighed," I am so glad to see the bond between you and the children."
VR caressed her cheeks," Didn't I tell you that I will prove myself a good father?"
" And, I trusted you," Orni wrapped her hands around his neck.
They looked at each other with passionate eyes. Just like the previous times when they were together. When they were in love. Slowly, VR moved his lips close to her lips while she squeezed her eyes shut.
Before their lips could feel the warmth of each other, coughing sounds started echoing everywhere. VR and Orni separated from each other and became embarrassed looking at their sons.
" Love is in the air," Roman teased VR & Orni.
Rion laughed out loud," Just like covid."
" Don't you guys have college? Go. Get ready," Orni said diverting the topic.
Roman and Rion went to their room to get ready while VR pulled Orni into his arms. He buried his head into her neck.
" Don't embarrass me in front of the kids," Orni tried to push him away.
VR tightened his hold around her slim figure," Once the kids leave. Get ready."
" Why? Are we going somewhere?" Orni asked sounding curious.
VR answered," Yup. Don't ask me where. You will get to know everything. Just be patient." He pecked her lips.
Without giving her any further details he went to the washroom. She was left behind with a bunch of questions in her mind.

" Where are you taking me?" Orni questioned sounding curious.
VR didn't answer anything. He kept pushing her forward. Due to the blindfold Orni has no idea where is he taking her.
After another two minutes of walk finally, VR stopped and removed the blindfold from her eyes. Orni opened her eyes slowly adjusting to the sudden light. And, the moment, she looked frontwards she became dumbfounded. She blinked her eyes shockingly and an amused expression appeared on her face. Her eyes sparkled with shock yet happiness. She wasn't expecting something like that.
She was amused after seeing the beautiful decoration of a picnic. She became more amazed after noticing the cake and homemade foods. She chuckled seeing the cute bears on the cake.
Suddenly, something triggered inside her or more precisely some memories triggered inside her. She looked here and there with shocked eyes. This place seemed familiar to her. It was one of the most beautiful mountain ridges in her city.
" Do you remember this place, Angel?" VR questioned smiling.
Orni was still in her shocked state. " It was the same place where I proposed to you for marriage," he reminded her.
She looked at him with almost teary eyes. How could she forget this place? How could she forget one of the most beautiful moments of her life? VR decorated this place just like before.
" Today is Valentine's Day just like that day when I proposed to you," VR said holding her from behind. " I wish we never left this place."
Orni did not answer anything. Turning at him, she smashed her lips on his lips. VR let her kiss him to her heart's content. Then he took the lead sucking the hell out of her lips.
Breaking the kiss VR said looking at her with his passionate eyes," I still can't believe my Angel accepted me even after all those heinous crimes I committed."
" I don't look like a charming model anymore. I lost my looks but still, you accepted me. It proves that you loved me beyond my looks," He added while tears glistened on his face.
" I don't know how I should show my gratitude, Angel. I swear if I had the chance to go back in time I would have......." VR was interrupted by Orni. She pressed her hand on his lips.
She said," Let's just remember the beautiful moments of us. Let's make beautiful and passionate moments. Past is meant to be forgotten. Let's build our future with love only."
Saying that she wiped away the tears from his face and gave him a charming smile. VR became overwhelmed with emotions. He pulled her into a bone-crushing hug.
" I love you, my innocent Angel," He whispered kissing her forehead while she closed her eyes with solace in her heart.
