Wang Hu nodded in agreement and added, “Their situation is as grim as it is without that troublesome kid constantly undermining them at every corner. I’d say he will cause more trouble for them in the near future.”
“Their suffering is my pleasure. I don’t care about corporate competition, but it is enough for me to know that thief Huang Wei is going to be punished for what he did and that scheming bastard Di Xiasong will drag his family down with him.” Niu Junjie gave a smack on his thigh and wrapped his arm around He Bai’s shoulder, “Bai, after this, you will be receiving a huge compensation. That Di Xiasong is literally giving away money! Haven’t you been worrying about buying a house for yourself? After this, I dare say the money won’t be an issue anymore.”

He Bai did a silent math on the smallest house Di Qiuhe once lived and nodded, “A small house really don’t agree with that guy.”
‘A small house simply won’t do’ thought He Bai.
“Achoooooo!”
Di Qiuhe rubbed his nose and asked over the phone, “He really said that?”
“Yes,” replied Xing Shaofeng, who stretched out his hand and drew a line on the paper that marked the relationship between the Qin clan and the Di clan, “so I don’t think you should confront Di Bian right away. He’s got more connections and clout in the entertainment business. A direct confrontation between you and him would only do a disservice to both you and Hua Ding.”
On hearing this, Di Qiuhe’s otherwise lousy mood suddenly brightened up. He thought for a while and replied, “If he is sure about this, then I guess we will do it his way then.” Whatever the case, he refused to upset He Bai, not ever again.
Xing Shaofeng nodded and took out his memo to jot down a few lines, which read, ‘The client is a bit submissive to his lover and he do things according to He Bai’s suggestions.’ He then asked a few more questions before hanging up the phone.
By the time Di hung up the phone, the crew was shooting a scene between Don Ni and Yang Wentian. Seeing as he still got time, Di Qiuhe dialed He Bai’s number with a smile on his face.
“All done?”
Di Qiuhe’s otherwise stressed body loosened up immediately upon hearing the voice of his loved one. He puckered up his lips and said, “Bai, I know.”
Befuddled, He Bai asked, “What do you know?”
“The thing that you asked Xing Shaofeng to do.” As Di Qiuhe was saying this, he felt a sudden urge to hold He Bai in the arms.
The soft and soothing voice kept caressing He Bai’s eardrum and he felt both warm and a tinge of embarrassment. Affected by Di Qiuhe’s shinning mood, he felt like he was going to laugh, but after noticing the people around him, he reined in his urge, got up to a quiet corner and replied, “You sent over Ke Shi? Also, what’s with the auction? The lawyer of the Qin clan went out to make a call earlier. I assume he was calling people over from Huang Du and the Qin clan. What are you going to do about it?”
Over at the set, they finished early and the director were preparing for the next scene. His didn’t have much time left.
Di Qiuhe looked over at the set, reluctant to hang up the phone. He gestured Wang Boyi to greet the director and then gently replied, “The plan is to make a fuss about that whole business with Di Xiasong and then get as many compensation from him as possible and make him apologize to you. He might be able to get away with the burglary, but we have solid proof that he deleted your files. When this whole thing goes to the press, I will help you hype up the auction of your photos. That way your popularity will no doubt increase and you won’t feel like a fraud next time you take on another jobs.
He Bai was both touched and amused by Di Qiuhe’s words. He asked, “Then what about you? If you do this, Di Bian will certainly blame it on you and by then he might not be so inclined to leave you in peace like he has always been doing out of guilt for you. Once he becomes your enemy, you are going to have a hard time in the entertainment business.”
“I know how to handle these consequences. Don’t you worry.” Di replied matter-of-factly.
He Bai continued, “Am I that small a person to you? I don’t like the way how people hype up their popularities. I want to earn what I am worth. So thank you but no thank you.”
“I am sorry.” Di Qiuhe apologized and then he asked, “What do you think I should do instead?”
Di Qiuhe couldn’t help but let out a laughter. He wanted to tease him more, but he had only so much time for him to rest. He paused for a while before saying, “Little Puppy. One week from now, the crew is to fly over to Country J. I will see you in less than a month.”
Hearing that, He Bai also paused and then snorted a smile, “Daddy waits for your return.”
“Good.”
After that, silence fell again and the whole room was inundated with romantic vibe. It was not until he heard a commotion over at the police station that he finally snapped out of the trance.
His eyes followed the direction of the noises and said, “There they are. The people from Huang Du and the Qin clan. I gotta go. Eat well and rest.”
“Let them fight it out. Don’t get in the way. I will take care of Huang Du. I will make you a rich man.” When he heard He Bai’s words, Di quickly realized what was happening and gave He Bai a few instructions before reluctantly hanging up the phone.
Huang Du sent over Lawyer Wang, and there was no sign of Di Bian. The Qins sent over Qin Li to mediate the situation. In the middle of the heated discussion, Ke Shi took a call. After he came back, he looked like a complete different person and began bargaining terms with Qin Li.
Qin Li was indignant with him piling on their misery, but for the sake of her son, she had to swallow her anger. She didn’t have the time nor the energy to bother with He Bai.
Not long after, Lawyer Wang also received a call and then He Bai received a text from Di Qiuhe, telling him to handle this thing his way and that Lawyer Wang would help him.
