The sound of applause rang out again—but this time, from a different direction.
Everyone turned toward the source—and saw Lance calmly walking out from the body of one of the bandaged humanoid monsters.
"As expected from a Yonko commander."
A faint smile curved at Lance's lips. "You've finally managed to get me a little excited."
"Another one of him? Wasn't he just hit by Jack-sama?!"
The Beasts Pirates stared like they'd seen a ghost.
The guy who'd just been sent flying by Jack was now walking out from somewhere else, completely unharmed. Not a single scratch.
"Is he a Devil Fruit user?"
"He can summon those freaky monsters, and now he's doing some kind of body switch… I've never heard of a power !"
"If Mama saw this, she'd be thrilled to add a new rare collectible to her book!"
Cracker's eyes glinted with intrigue.
Meanwhile, from a distance, Rebecca, Baby-5, and Monet relaxed slightly after seeing Lance walk out unharmed.
"What kind of Devil Fruit ability is this? I've never heard of it."
The moment Jack lunged at Lance, her heart had nearly leapt into her throat. When the collision happened, it brought back memories of Doflamingo's death all over again.
But when she saw Lance reappear, unscathed, the weight on her chest lifted—though confusion lingered.
She had read countless intelligence reports, memorized Devil Fruit powers and key figures. And yet… she couldn't recall any ability .
"I asked him once… he didn't say a word."
"Maybe that mystery is what makes him so irresistible!"
Baby-5's eyes sparkled like a lovestruck fool.
"He told me… he can't die."
"No matter who his opponent is, I believe in him. He's the strongest!"
Rebecca had clearly become one of Lance's loyal fans.
"Could such a person really exist in this world?"
Among the three, only Monet remained slightly more grounded, murmuring as she watched Lance.
"I hate bugs like you the most!"
Jack the Drought reverted to human form, holding two enormous scythes in his hands, eyes cold as ice.
"You don't even fight face to face. All you do is dodge and stall with these useless tricks to escape!"
"You cowardly bastard—if you've got the guts, fight me head-on!"
Furious that Lance survived, Jack was seething. He wanted to butcher the kid and prove his might.
"Jack, you're a Yonko commander, right? Aren't you embarrassed to say crap like that?"
"If you're strong, kill me. If you're not… shut up."
Lance smirked. "Don't worry, we'll fight soon. But before that, I'm collecting some interest."
Before anyone could understand what he meant, Lance swept his gaze across the battlefield—then waved his hand.
Kyouran Shiroito (Raging White Threads)
Dozens of massive white-thread waves exploded skyward, spreading like a tidal surge and crashing down upon the Beasts Pirates' ability users!
In a flash, over half the crew were caught in the attack. The crushing threads strangled and shredded through flesh—
Dozens of Beast Pirates were torn apart on the spot!
"Little Black, enjoy your feast!"
Lance commanded—and the six IBM immediately pounced on the fresh corpses, chomping down like ravenous beasts.
"Wha—?! They eat people?!"
"Jack-sama! Help me! I don't want to die!"
Lance launched another wave of white threads toward the rest of the crew. The stronger fighters managed to break free and flee using brute strength, but the weaker ones… not so lucky.
They were dragged down, twisted and mangled from the legs upward, and died screaming.
The attack was fast. So fast that before anyone knew what was happening—half the battlefield was already soaked in blood.
"You think killing my men is some kind of accomplishment? I'll show you what happens when you piss me off!"
Jack didn't care whether his subordinates lived or died. What mattered was Lance—he had to die.
If word got out that one brat wrecked his whole squad, and Jack did nothing—both his reputation and Kaido's would be a joke.
With a furious roar, Jack charged again, swinging his twin scythes straight at Lance!
"Sorry, Jack, but I'm busy collecting interest right now!"
Lance ducked—one of Jack's blades slammed into the ground, leaving a massive crater where Lance had just stood.
But Lance didn't counter. He wasn't interested in Jack yet.
He kept culling the Beasts Pirates instead.
While most people go for the boss first—Lance had a different strategy.
He took out the small fry first—because each one of them gave him rewards.
Sure enough, after the IBM devoured the first batch of corpses, a wave of searing energy rushed through Lance's body—his power surged!
"Jack the Drought! I don't know who this guy is, but this is a battle between us! I won't let a runt interfere!"
"You little bastard—you dared to attack me earlier?! Now you'll pay for it!"
Suddenly, every Biscuit Soldier in the area turned toward Lance—Cracker had joined the fray!
The two Yonko commanders—Jack and Cracker—had now both set their sights on Lance.
