Hao Ren sent Kano Ty flying inside the office and closed the door behind him. Samaira happened to be quick on her feet and she got in before Hao Ren closed the door, and he approached the old man, who was half sprawled on the table where he was supposed to work and direct the southern district.
Hao Ren appeared beside the man, the spiritual vitality was gradually leaving Kano Ty and his body was ceasing to function slowly as the moments passed, and Hao Ren asked, "What did you do to the researchers and where are they?"
The old man looked at Hao Ren with a glacial appearance and asked, "Who are you?"
Hao Ren said, "Since you have been conspiring against the Crescent Moon Empire, you must be aware of the Empress, Holy Moon, and the Emperor, Wandering Dragon, yes?"
The two people shivered and Kano Ty's face turned cold, Hao Ren said, "Greetings, I am Wandering Dragon. Now, can you please enlighten me about the reasons why you captured and killed one of my researchers?"
His words were calm but his tone was icy. Samaira had finally realized why this guy was able to overcome all of them. He was the infamous Wandering Dragon who conquered the southern continent of the Spirit Shimmer Continent at the age of thirty and he had slayed many people to get where he was, which was not something schemers like them were capable of.
Kano Ty gulped and said, "If I told you anything, he will kill my family."
Hao Ren looked at the old man and smiled coldly as he said, "If you don't tell me, I will kill everyone in your family including chickens and dogs. Death would not come to them swiftly, and that is my promise."
Kano Ty realized how cruel this young man was and said, "It was all because of the Prince of the Demon Moon Empire."
Hao Ren raised his brow and said, "Pardon me, but I am quite ignorant about the name you just mentioned."
Kano Ty was hesitating to reply when Samaira said, "Your Majesty, Demon Moon is a hidden cult. They were an evil force several thousand years ago and they were hunted down by the righteous forces together.
My family was one of those who fought against them. If Kano Ty is colluding with them then something big is about to happen."
Hao Ren took out a silver needle and flicked it at the accupoint in Kano Ty's body as the old man yelled. Hao Ren smiled and said, "I have six more spots , they will make you experience great pain but they will not let you die. So, if I were in your place, I would start spilling the milk."
Kano Ty took a deep breath, and said, "The Demon Moon is a shadow empire. There are around seven hundred thousand people who follow the ideas of the Demon Moon, and they have been instilling themselves in the world like normal people.
We have infiltrated many high families, sects, associations and all this to gather information and prepare. The Demon Moon has been passed down to ten generations of the Ray family. They are preparing to launch an attack on the system that governs the world, and the forces that fought against them. The attack will change the face of the world as you all know it. We have been trying to claw our way through the Spirit Shimmer Continent but that place is so tightly guarded that even when our people went there they could not get into the kingdoms.
However, one of the travelling researchers was looking for precious metals here, and when he found Valium Steal, he was ecstatic and let out the information about Liquid Metal. That was when we intervened and apprehended him and his colleagues to use their knowledge and start working on a weapon for ourselves.
Hao Ren nodded and asked, "So, where is the Demon Moon leadership base?"
Kano Ty shook his head and said, "They use a special method to communicate and never come forward in person. None of the people know where they are."
Hao Ren nodded and asked, "What is this special means of communication?"
Kano Ty replied with a slightly haggard tone, "It is the crystal ball made from Ocean Stone."
Hao Ren pinched his chin and asked, "Does your family know where you keep this stone?"
Kano Ty shook his head and Hao Ren snapped his fingers before repeating the question and the old man said, "In my dungeon."
Hao Ren said calmly, "Thank you for your help. Have a safe trip to hell."
Then he waved his hands and the leftover residue of the Phoenix Flames were reignited and Kano Ty turned into a statue of ashes. Hao Ren looked at Samaira and said, "Go and convince the other directors of what happened here."
Samaira wanted to say that she had no proof but the look Hao Ren gave her was obviously stating how he knew of her using the image stone to record the situation here.
She nodded and the young man said, "Good, meet you at the Kano Mansion."
Hao Ren turned around, kicked the door open and walked out of the building at the quickest speed possible. He entered from the western district, but exited from the Southern District gate. He looked at the guard at the door and asked, "This brother, can you tell me where the Kano Mansion is located?"
The guard looked at Hao Ren and quickly bowed after spotting the eight star badge on his chest and said, "Esteemed Master, it is located in the center of the district, it is the biggest mansion in this area."
Hao Ren nodded and tossed a few spirit stones to the man before he vanished from the spot. The young man didn't wish to have any karmic ties with the person and thus he paid him right then and there.
When he reappeared, he was standing at the gates of the biggest mansion in the area and the guards were shocked to see him. They quickly raised their weapons and Hao Ren snapped his fingers as he said, "Kneel down honestly on the side if you wish to live."
The guards were only in the initial Dao Realm and thus they knelt there calmly. Hao Ren waltzed inside the mansion and looking at the maid in the central hall, he said, "Go summon all the people living here, and tell them that if they are not coming, they will die like Kano Ty." The maid's eyes turned dazed and she ran around the mansion causing a huge uproar, as she yelled, "The Master is dead! The Killer is here!"
Hao Ren raised his brow and mumbled, "Hmm, I should give them better commands."
Sure enough twenty members of the family stood inside the hall, and they all looked at Hao Ren with great scrutiny, a middle-aged man stepped up and said, "Are you speaking the truth? Is my father really dead?"
Hao Ren nodded and said, "Yes, he is dead, but he said that I should come here and grab the artifact that he has stored inside the dungeon. He said that the demon would come after you all."
Kano Lai, the eldest son, frowned and the next moment, Hao Ren sighed and said, "I didn't want this but you people are so slow."
He snapped his fingers and said, "Kill all of them and then behead yourself, but before that you better leave the message that you colluded with the Demon Moon."
That said, Hao Ren turned away to look for the dungeon, while Kano Lai became the messenger of death and he killed each and every person who stood before him. Hao Ren went around the mansion and in the backyard, he located a tunnel leading underground.
Hao Ren walked inside carefully, with a couple of fire balls levitating around him. The young man came to the last step of the tunnel and found a door before him. The door was covered with an array, so he used the eye of the insight and burned a few holes to melt the gate, after all it was a precious metal and a good raw material for refining weapons.
The door was pushed open and Hao Ren went inside the place. He spotted a small crystal ball laying in the center on a raised platform. The young man inspected the crystal ball and then invoked the Eye of Insight.
He found that this ball was covered with multiple arrays and also the names of these arrays also flashed in his mind. So the combination of these arrays would serve as the mobile. Hao Ren sighed and segregated the combinations and then the list of names in the Eye of Insight was revealed.
The young man decided to discuss this with Xiao Mei, and then handle it. The biggest reason why he was not in a hurry was to make sure that the enemy is dead and in one fell swoop or these people would become survivalists and infest us all once again.
