Chapter 9
Henley
After my little talk with that bitch, she was so furious that she grabbed her bag and left the Mansion.
I was all alone now, my whole body was aching so badly.
Maybe because it was getting accustomed to not working.
I sighed as I walked to the freezer and took a bowl of ice cream.
I walked to the kitchen and thankfully saw the woman...was it, Gloria? I didn't care right now.
"Good day Ma'am." I greeted and she flashed a smile.
"Hi, Henley."
Thank God, she got it right this time.
"What do you want?" She asked, with a sweet smile.
Why was she always smiling at me?
"Chicken," I asked, with a smile as well.
But I knew mine came out weirdly as I didn't want to smile.
"Ohh...here it is." She said, taking a bowl from the plate rack and going to the huge pot.
She placed two large chicken legs on the bowl and I grinned.
A sincere one this time.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
I walked out of the kitchen and to the living room and just when I wanted to turn, I gasped.
"Finn? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"You sure are enjoying yourself, Henry. Take a look at your hand and bowl." He clicked his tongue and I rolled my eyes, pushing him out of the way as I walked past him.
I sat on the couch and placed my leg on the table as I ate my delicious delicacies and Finn kept watching me.
"I love your lips."
"You can never taste it no matter what."
"I was speaking that for a friend." He said and I frowned.
"What friend?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Sandro of course."
"Oh please," I said and rolled my eyes, and munched my food slowly.

I was bored while Finn was video-calling a girl.
Wasn't he just dumped three days ago?
Has he seen another love of his life?
These men surprise me from time to time.
"Yeah, I'll see you soon. Love you." He mumbled and I coughed.
"How are you doing Henley?" He dropped the phone after cutting the call.
"I thought Rachel broke your heart."
"Yeah and I just met a Lucille yesterday when I was out. She's more beautiful and she's sexy as well."
"I thought you loved Rachel so much, how could you forget her so easily like that?'
"I'm trying to forget her."
"So you want to use Lucille as a substitute till you forget Rachel?" I asked again and he sighed.
"Can you stop putting it that way? It'd seem like I'm a bad guy."
"Aren't you? Using another woman to make the other leave your heart."
"Tch! You're boring Henley." Finn said.
"Can you take me to town? I want to get something from my apartment." I said and his eyes widened.
"No can do Henley, Sandro would kill me. He said not to let you leave, imagine if I were to help you leave." He said, clicking his tongue.
"Then how about we swim?" I asked and he smirked.
"Can you still do it?"
"Do what?" I asked, and he smiled.
"Can you still swim? I mean Sandro did teach you the basics but then... let's race." He said, and I nodded as well.
"What happens to whoever wins?" I asked.
"I'll gift you a cellphone if you win Henley, and then if I win.. you'll prepare my favorite snail pasta." He said and I smiled.
"I'm deal."

Okay! I'm still praying to the stars up there to win.
There was no way I'd let Finn win.
He was just in his shorts and a singlet while I was in my bikini short skirt and a bikini top.
"One, two, three!"
We both jumped into the water and began to swim.
The first race didn't matter though.
We had three more races before the final winner would be given the trophy.
I began to swim faster, kicking the water faster thereby raising my legs to the water to enable my belly to stay flat on it.
"Yay!" I exclaimed when I got to the end of the pool.
Sandro had taught me well.
There was no way Finn would win me.
"We just began Henley, who knows what might happen," Finn said as he got to the end as well.
We began the second race and I won again, now we were at the last one and Finny was breathing so hard as if he was going to die.
"I'm going to win," I yelled as I swam faster.
Finn was now ahead of me, but I refuse to let him beat me.
I was still aiming for the end when he yelled.
"I won!" He yelled.
I sighed, as I stopped swimming.
"You cheated."
"Oh, I didn't." He said and swam towards me.
He splashed water on my face and I hissed.
"Don't do that," I said and he chuckled, splashing again.
"Ouch, my eyes," I mumbled as he splashed something into my eyes.
"Henley. OMG! I'm so sorry." He said and scooted near me, bringing his right hand close to my eyes, and his left to my waist to steady me, as he blew air into my eyes.
"Oh, what treat for the eyes." We both heard and looked up.
My eyes widened seeing everyone but Emma around.
Didn't she come back with them? Thank God!
"What are you doing in the pool?" Sandro asked.
My eyes trailed his to see Finn's hands on my waist.
"What?" Finn asked, pulling me closer to himself as he tightened his grip on my waist with a smile on his face.
"We were just playing around." He said, and I hit his shoulder.
Jonas walked away and Sandro followed but Paxton stayed.
"You two are unpredictable. Isn't it just three days ever since your girl dumped you, Finn?" Paxton asked, and I laughed as he helped me out of the pool.
"That was the same thing I asked, he has a girlfriend already. Her name is..."
"Lucille." Paxton cut me off with a smile.
"You know her?" I asked, with widened eyes.
"Yes, we met her yesterday and he kept smiling like a fool," Paxton said, shaking his head.
He took off his coat and draped it over my shoulder.
"Go change, so you won't feel cold." He said and I nodded, waving then goodbye as I walked away.
When I walked into the Mansion, Sandro was drinking wine and Jonas was talking to someone on the phone, his expression as hard as stone.
Can't he for once smile?
"Come with me," Sandro said, and I blinked.
"What do you think you're doing Sandro? I'm wet and I need to dry up." I said as he dragged me to wherever we were going.
He pushed open the door and we walked in.
"What the hell were you doing with Finny there?"
I frowned.
What the heck was this psycho saying?
"What do you mean?"
"Are you trying to seduce my best friend just like how you did to Mason?" He asked.
"What do you mean by Mason? Who seduced Mason? What the hell do you mean? And who's seducing Finny?' I asked.
"Don't act like a saint Henley, you're nothing but a fucking slut!" He glared and my hand moved across his face unconsciously.
My eyes widened when I slapped him but then It felt good.
He was the one making me miserable by keeping me here and now he was talking about me seducing someone?
Finny was like a brother to me, why would I want to seduce him?
"Get out." He gritted and I bit my lips as tears fell down my cheek.
"Sandro please..."
"Get out!"
And I walked out, slamming the door hard as I did.
I walked to my room and into the bathroom.
This was bad.
I had to leave this place. It was getting stuffy and I couldn't breathe again.
Sandro was the cause of my predicament.
I finished taking my bath and wore my pink and black pajamas.
It looked so cute on me, and the top of the pajamas had a rabbit ear attached to both sides of the neck.
I slumped down on the bed and closed my eyes, letting sleep take over my weak body.
I was adding and tomorrow I'd begin my little exercise.
