And what was more heartbreaking was that the one who killed his best friend was none other than his own student, Orochimaru.
When Hiruzen first got this information, he was in denial. He knew his best friend well; there was no way he could be defeated by Orochimaru. After all, Danzo has more than enough cards to play. And with his strength, it shouldn’t be that hard to escape.
