And today, Seimei and 119 others were going to attend the first day of such a cut-throat class.
It was 9:05 AM when Seimei slowly walked into his classroom 1-S.
The class would begin at 9:30 AM. So, the classroom was already brimming with plenty of kids, ranging from 6 to 8 years old.
He looked around the classroom, picked a seat near the window on the second row, and sat in it.
If you don't sit next to the window in a classroom at least once in your life, then you are wasting your youth!
Fortunately, his thoughts were still normal and didn't go into full-on Chunibyo Mode.
Suppressing his random thoughts, Seimei finally started observing his class and classmates this year.
He watched as 23 children were either chatting with each other or doing their own things.
This classroom was supposed to have 30 students, including him. So, 6 more kids should be showing up before the clock hits 9:30 AM.
Seimei quickly got bored of the chatter and opened his system panel to check the progress of the Chakra Control bar.

Lv.5 Chakra Control could already help him reduce the number of hand seals, perform one-handed seals, and control Ninjutsu after releasing them to some extent.
It also helped him improve his chakra flow, reduce chakra usage per Jutsu, and reinforce his physical defense using Chakra Coating.
So, he wondered what benefits Lv.6 Chakra Control would bring.
As his thoughts kept drifting, the clock struck 9:30 AM.
Soon, the sound of the door sliding shut and footsteps heading to the teaching platform silenced the chattering children and brought Seimei out of his reverie.
Seimei and all the other children gazed straight at the man standing at the podium with a barely perceptible smile, dressed in a standard Konoha Jonin outfit.
The man had short black hair, a light complexion, and rough skin. He looked average but had a light scar across his left eyebrow and forehead, giving him a slightly dangerous vibe.
The man scanned the room for a few seconds as if he were trying to memorize each face, and then broke the silence.
"Good morning, students. Welcome to the Central Ninja Academy, where you will learn how to be a capable Shinobi."
"We will teach you how to handle Ninja tools, cast Ninjutsu, and polish your Taijutsu."
"But most importantly, we will drill Shinobi combat instincts into your very bones."
"Within the next five years, we will groom you into a capable Shinobi who can eliminate chakra beasts and enemy Ninjas."
"You will become the backbone of Konoha and the entire Land of Fire, and protect your motherland's peace from internal and external threats."
The man spoke with a solemn expression and then went silent.
After 5 or so seconds, he began to speak once again.
"All of you in front of me are geniuses beyond measure."
"Just the fact that you have found your place in the S-class means you have potential far surpassing your peers."
"However, the potential is just potential."
"If you don't turn your potential into tangible strength, it means nothing at all. Right now, a C-rank chakra beast or an enemy Chunin can kill you all."
"In the S-class, you will turn your latent potential into actual strength."
"Because you have talent beyond measure, you must train harder than your peers."
"Resources? We will provide you. Guidance and training? We will give you."
"Your job is to train, hone your combat ability, and become pillars that support Konoha."
"If you fail, you will be dismissed from the S-class and demoted to the lower classes."
"That means you will lose your privileges, abundant resources, and the golden opportunity to become stronger in the fastest and safest way."
The atmosphere of the class suddenly became solemn.
The benefits of being a part of the S-class were self-evident. No one wanted to lose them.
Just as the atmosphere was about to boil further, the man on the podium smiled and said…
"However, I will do my best to ensure every one of you becomes a Shinobi capable of withholding the Will of Fire and protecting your loved ones."
"My name is Kamishiro Kirito. A Jonin of Konoha."
"And I will be your homeroom teacher and the main instructor for the next five years or until you graduate from the S-class."
Kamishiro clan. A powerful Kekkei Genkai clan of Konoha specializing in Thrust Release Kekkei Genkai.
The class was full of hot-blooded youth, and after the motivational speech from their instructor, they were all fired up.
Meanwhile, Seimei scrutinized his new instructor carefully.
'Well, that was one hell of a motivational speech. But he still didn't forget to insert Will of Fire in the middle, huh?'
'The subtle brainwashing capabilities of Genjutsu: Will of Fire shine again.'
'My dear father, was that your instruction? It had to be you.'
As Seimei was lampooning and complaining about the shamelessness of his cheap father inwardly, the new instructor, Kamishiro Kirito spoke again.
"Alright class. Now, please stand up and introduce yourself one by one."
