Afterward, Kagetsu conducted more tests with Anko.
Through these tests, they confirmed that apart from the abilities she had already shown, Anko was still affected by Shisui's Fire Release jutsu.
Anko's kekkei genkai allows her to control the Fire Release jutsu she unleashes with her own chakra, but she must still evade any Fire Release techniques used by others against her.
However, compared to an average shinobi, she has higher resistance to Fire Release techniques. Simply put, by channeling her chakra when necessary, she can better withstand high temperatures, minimizing the extent and severity of burns.

"Repeatedly… sent to the hospital?" She shivered, as though recalling something unsettling.
"You'll need to endure it," Kagetsu said seriously. "You'll need a strong will and high pain tolerance. Otherwise, I can't guarantee the success rate of the next phase of modification."
"What exactly will the experiment's results be?" Anko gritted her teeth, not afraid of pain but aware that Kagetsu rarely emphasized something unless the risks were significant.
"It would let your body heal wounds rapidly on its own, almost like having medical ninjutsu built-in," Kagetsu explained after a moment's thought.
"That powerful?" Shisui and Anko were both stunned, and a smile of excitement spread across Anko's face.
Why was the mortality rate for ninjas so high?
Apart from those who died immediately in battle, many others perished due to the lack of timely treatment for their injuries. In combat, any injury could weaken a ninja, which in turn could lead to a chain reaction of disastrous consequences.
