A split second later, a massive black curtain unfurled, spreading across the room as additional kunai pinned its edges in place. The curtain hung ominously, bearing bold, red lettering: "SECOND TEST."
From inside the curtain, a figure emerged—a woman with short, spiky hair and a confident smirk.
"Well, that's dramatic," Ibiki muttered under his breath, his face twitching with mild annoyance as he disappeared behind the curtain. "She's here."
The woman's voice rang out, sharp and commanding. "Alright, listen up!" she called, silencing the murmurs. "This is no time to celebrate just yet!"
She placed her hands on her hips, her smirk widening. "I'm Anko Mitarashi, the proctor for the second test of the Chunin Exams. Get ready—things are about to get a lot tougher."
Her fiery demeanor left no doubt: the real challenge was only just beginning.
