"Taijutsu Sensei, you want to practice Taijutsu?"
Senju Yumi looked at her son in shock. She hadn't expected him to want to start Taijutsu just a day after they arrived at the training ground.
Taijutsu is the most exhausting for any practitioner! Might Guy, who is always running around Konoha, can tell you how tough it is. Her son could have led a peaceful life without pushing himself so hard.
Her son was actually determined to work hard.
"Taijutsu is very tough. Let's not do it, okay?" Senju Yumi gently urged her son. She really didn't want him to struggle so much; she just wanted him to have an ordinary life.
"No, I believe Taijutsu is perfect for me!" Genya said seriously and repeated, "I want to practice Taijutsu!"
He felt that the food he ate could be used to fuel his strength through exercise. Plus, he was certain that with Taijutsu practice, he could surpass Might Guy!
He had a natural talent for it!
"Then I'll talk to your father about it. If he agrees, we'll find a Taijutsu teacher for you!" Senju Yumi said, feeling a bit embarrassed, and decided to discuss it with Uchiha Kinya.
Genya nodded. "Dad will definitely agree. I want to choose my own teacher!"
"Let's go home first!"
After thanking Uchiha Zentaro, Senju Yumi carried Uchiha Genya and left. Their conversation could still be heard:
"Genya, what did you learn today?"
"I practiced shurikenjutsu and can now always hit the target!"
Uchiha Zentaro had wanted to talk to Senju Yumi about not wanting Genya to be a ninja, but seeing her attitude, he decided against it. She was so devoted to her son!
If Genya had said he didn't want to practice, she would probably have agreed right away!
Never mind, he'd have another chance to speak with Uchiha Kinya later. He hoped Kinya could convince Genya. After all, even without the Sharingan, Genya's talent might make him a strong ninja in the future!
Genya didn't want to be just a tool for his clan and village. He had clearly stated his goal in the morning: he wanted to be someone others would admire. That was his ambition!
Genya's training wouldn't slow down!
In a Merchant Building.
In a luxurious office, a man who looked under 30 sneezed suddenly.
"Do I have a cold?" Uchiha Kinya muttered, feeling weak. Since taking over his father's business, he had been extremely busy.
He thought, "I need some nutritious food. Little Genya still needs a younger sister!"
At that moment, a worried man burst in.
"Boss, bad news! Our goods were intercepted in the Land of Lightning!" the man reported, looking distressed.
"Where are the ninjas who were supposed to escort the goods?" Uchiha Kinya's expression darkened. In the ninja world, where conflicts between countries were common, merchants hired ninjas to protect their cargo.
Even so, losses could happen, and sometimes, ninjas could be hurt or killed.
The ninjas involved were not from Konoha but were part of his Chamber of Commerce. Losing any of them was a significant issue.
"Several ninjas were injured and have been sent to the medical department," the man added.
Uchiha Kinya sighed in relief. At least, only some goods were lost and there were no major casualties.
"Send someone to handle this. Transport the goods again, but make sure to send more ninjas for protection!" Uchiha Kinya gave clear instructions.
And the injured ninjas needed proper care and their injury bonuses should not be overlooked!
After handling this, Uchiha Kinya felt a bit down. Lately, his caravan had been targeted more often. It seemed he needed to hire some Jonin-level ninjas to oversee things.
Once this was sorted out, he returned to his usual calm self, looked at the sky, and wondered, "Is my precious son back yet?"
When he talked about his son, his usually serious and gloomy face brightened with joy.
Today was the first time his beloved son went to training, so he needed to return home early.
"He's been taken home by your wife. The young lord had a very enjoyable day!" said his assistant seriously.
"Alright, I'm heading home early today to see what my son learned at the training ground," Uchiha Kinya said as he stood up, trying to put on a smile to lift his mood, and walked towards home.
"Wife, son, I'm back!"
"Son, did you miss your dad? I brought you some snacks!"
"Hmm, it looks like my son has lost some weight?"
"Go wash your hands and come eat!" Senju Yumi said with a glance.
The family began their meal, chatting and laughing happily. But halfway through, someone rushed in to find Uchiha Kinya. He frowned, went outside, and returned with a troubled expression, no trace of his earlier cheerfulness.
Genya swallowed his food and noticed his father's sad face. "Dad, what's wrong? You look upset!"
"You wouldn't understand, kid," Uchiha Kinya replied, clearly concerned.
He had just received news that his caravan had been attacked by another caravan while passing through the Land of Earth. Although the goods were not lost, two ninjas were.
"If this keeps up, our caravan could face serious losses!"
"If you don't tell me, how would I know I don't understand?" Genya said while eating.
Having memories from a past life and a clear understanding of the Hokage's direction, he might be able to offer his father some advice.
Seeing his young son's desire to help, Uchiha Kinya was touched but still said, "The world has become more chaotic lately. Our caravan has been robbed several times in the past few days, and the losses have been quite significant."
Genya's eyes sparkled as he looked at his worried father. "Then hire some ninja guards. We're not short on money!"
Hiring ninjas would be the quickest and most effective solution.
"But the situation between the villages is quite tense right now. Regular jonin or chunin won't accept our recruitment!" Uchiha Kinya said, clearly disappointed. This was causing him concern.
They were originally from the Uchiha clan. If they recruited ninjas on a large scale, it might even raise the village's suspicions.
"Is that so?" Genya replied, not convinced. "If we can't find other ninjas, we should look within the Uchiha clan for those willing to join us!"
