These rifles with thick barrels and enlarged ammunition had a strong recoil, enough to shatter the shoulder of an ordinary person. Similar to the black steel pistol holstered at Chen Chu's waist, they were weapons used for close-range combat against cultivators of the same level.
Under the alternating continuous fire of the five powerful rifles, the deafening sound inside the cave was comparable to the power of sniper rifles, as ten millimeter caliber bullets, each carrying enough kinetic energy to blast a person’s body apart, flooded the entrance.

Seizing the moment, Chen Chu appeared behind the bull. His saber flashed like lightning as it struck the joint of the beast’s hind leg, which was twice as thick as an elephant's.
The sharp blade cut into the bull's hind leg, emitting an ear-piercing sound. It left a deep wound several centimeters long, revealing the dark red muscles underneath.
With all his strength, Chen Chu could only barely cut through the mutated beast's skin. Its defense was too powerful. Even when he sensed an incoming attack and quickly retreated, he was in awe.
The bull swung its massive tail, instantly blasting the air within several meters behind it.
Unfortunately, Chen Chu was like an agile flea, and couldn't be attacked by the bull when he was on guard. He flashed to its side, the sharp blade aiming for its eyes.
Sensing the attack, the bull suddenly reared up onto its hind legs before slamming back down.
The ground trembled, and an invisible shockwave swept through the space. Dust filled the air, and countless rocks bounced off the ground.
But this time, Chen Chu had simply feinted, disappearing from where the bull's front legs had left the ground.
This cave was probably a place to raise these mutated bulls. The entrance was five meters high, and after about ten meters, it opened up to a space about twenty meters long, ten meters wide, and ten meters high.
Such a large space must have required a lot of manpower and resources to excavate, but it was only just enough room for the bull to turn around normally, giving Chen Chu the advantage. As soon as the shockwave dissipated, he appeared behind the bull like a ghost once again.

When it felt its tail hit Chen Chu, the bull suddenly turned around. Its eyes were fierce, and with a rapid momentum, it charged towards him.
Rocks flew, and dust filled the air.
This attack only left a large pit several meters in diameter in the mountain wall, without hitting Chen Chu at all.
In this cramped cave, the large bull was restrained. The time it would take to turn around was enough for Chen Chu to run around the cave several times.
The mutated black bull let out a roar in anger, turning to escape from the cave. Although its intelligence was limited, it realized that continuing to fight in such a small space might lead to its death.
