CHAPTER 55

3 HOURS LATER
Bonnie was back from school as she met the crew sitting soberly on the couch in the living room.
"Hello people," she said but none responded.
"Yh I get it. Sarah's gone, but it ain't the end of the world" she said dropping her bag on the sofa.
"How did you know about her death?" Laura asked as she shrugged.
"News fly you know, and it's on the news, everyone's talking about it. Never knew that girl was popular" she said taking off her jacket.
"Did you come home alone?" Alex asked as she shook her head.
"Fay dropped me. I told her I won't be needing any babysitting today. Sorry for ruining your chances of kissing her today" Bonnie said as Alex scoffed.
"Come on guys, why the long faces?" She asked.
"Sarah is our friend and Without her we are blind. Which means more deaths would occur and we won't be able to do anything. What would be our fate now?' Elena asked deep in thought as Bonnie shrugged.
"It's still not the end of the world, we can think of something," she said as her stomach grumbled.
"Bonnie, you're hungry. There are sandwiches in the kitchen" Laura said.
"No thanks, Peter would be taking me out to a fancy restaurant today. He promised" Bonnie said making him remember his promise as he groaned.
"Bonnie, we are supposed to be mourning today. We lost a friend" Peter said to her as she scoffed.
"Moaning?" She said purposely and laughed but none found it funny.
"Ok see, she's dead, she's gone. It's not our fault. I'm as hurt as you all. We can't do anything about it. I'm going to my room to shower and I'll be down in a jiffy for the date. I need to take pictures with you at the restaurant, I told my classmates I'd be going out on a date with my boify but they wouldn't believe me, so I'll just show them proof at school tomorrow" she said and carried her bag from the sofa as she started walking upstairs to her room.
Peter's Phone beeped as he took it from the table, seeing it was a message from Sophia.
*** Hey, are you free? Let's go out on a date.
He read it and scoffed.
*** I'm sorry, I'd be busy.
He replied.
*** It's about the sex right? I suck at it I know. Give me another chance and you'll see I'll do better
She replied.
*** It's not about the stupid sex and I do regret that. Let's just pretend it never happened. I'm ashamed of myself.
He replied and threw the phone on the table.
"It's Sophia right?" Laura asked as he just nodded.
Bonnie was done already as she climbed down the staircase.
"I'm done!" She said as she walked up to them. She wore a white gown and a blue hat.
"A promise is a promise," Bonnie said as he groaned.

Peter and Bonnie alighted from the cab after he paid the taxi driver.
"Can we kiss that way some other time?" She asked as he raised his brow at her.
"Shut up. You mustn't say that and you should forget about the kiss too. Pretend it never happened and it can never happen again. Do you know how Alex would feel if he finds out?" Peter scolded as she smiled.
"He won't find out unless you'll be the one to tell him and PS, I can't forget about the kiss because I think about it every night before I sleep," she said giggling making Peter huff.
"See, listen to me," he said squatting at her front so she won't stress herself much by raising her head to meet his gaze.
"You're not gonna cause any trouble in there, right?" He asked as she frowned.
"You're making it look as if I'm a trouble maker," she said still frowning.
"I'm not saying you're a trouble maker. It's just the advice I'm giving you. You don't wanna create a scene right?" He asked as she breathed down.
"Ok, whatever, let's just go in already, I'm starving," she said as he stood up and they walked inside the restaurant.
"Welcome, sire and little Miss. Your sister is very beautiful" the waitress welcoming them said as Bonnie frowned.
She opened her mouth to say something but stopped when Peter gave her a look.
The waitress took them to a glass table and above their heads has a tinted light that gave that particular table a beautiful color.
Bonnie glanced around the restaurant and saw each table has its color as she smiled at the place. She so much loves it here.
She doesn't know why she has the feeling that she's been here before. Peter drew a seat out for her as she struggled to sit on it because it was very high.
He walked up to her and carried her on her seat making the waitress smile at them.
"Thanks," she said with a smile and glanced around the beautiful place.
"You love it huh? My mom and my dad normally come here when they were alive" he said as the cool music played while she stared at him. (This story is written by Naomi Innocent)
"You do cherish this place right?" She asked making him nod.
"Yh, I do come here when I wanna think of them," he said as she smiled again.
"You cherish me that's why you brought me to your favorite place right?" She said with a smile on her face making him scoff.
The waitress dropped the menu at their table as she picked it up.
"I don't want to eat Italian food, don't you have a Chinese menu?' She asked making the waitress surprised.
A little girl that talks so much.
"Oh, sorry ma'am," she said and gave them the Chinese menu instead.
"Thanks" she muttered as the waitress gave Peter another menu.
"Don't worry, I'm good with anything she orders for" he said refusing to take the menu from her hand as Bonnie smiled.
"Really? You'll eat whatever I order for?" She asked to be sure as he just shrugged.
"Ok then," she said beaconing on the waitress to lean closer as she whispered something to her hearing alone.
"Ok, then Miss," the waitress said taking the menu as she left.
"What did you tell her?" He asked her immediately the waitress left.
"Don't worry, you'll see" she said smiling as they waited for the waitress.
In 20 minutes, she was back with a trolley that had a large tray, covered with a big bowl made of steel.
She dropped it on the table as the waitress dropped the cutleries on the steel, she smiled at them.
"Enjoy your meal," she said with a slight bow and left as Peter wondered what Bonnie ordered.
"What's in there?" He asked resting his back on the chair.
"Why don't you open it and see?" She asked smiling as he stared at her suspiciously before opening it as he saw the greatest shock of his life.
"What the hell is this!" He said half yelling as he brought his voice down remembering they were at the restaurant and not her home.
"Taste it, you'll love it. It's octopus grilled with chili Pepper, cabbage, and lettuce vegetables" she said smiling handling the cutleries.
"Hmm, oh really? I'd love to watch you eat it all without leaving a piece on the tray" He said folding his arms as she smiled.
"Sure, just watch and make sure you don't salivate," she said as she started munching on it.
"Now say cheese!' She said smiling as she took a picture of him.
Peter just gave her a horrid look and wondered where in the world a kid like her came from.
20 minutes later
She was still eating and was tired already, she felt like throwing up as her face looked pale.
"Peter, I'm sorry" she begged hoping he would ask her to stop eating because she was tired and was feeling sick.
Peter felt triumphantly seeing her plead, a smug smile curled around his lips.
"I'm sorry young lady, you have to eat it all. Or should I order for another?" He asked as she shook her head sideways, almost crying now.
"I'm gonna throw up if I continue. I don't even think my tiny feet can carry me outside of this restaurant" she confessed as she stretched her body.
Peter smiled at this as he secretly took pictures of her without her knowledge. He hoped to use it against her someday.
"No! You have to finish it up," he said staring at the tray.
"You're almost done, just eat the head, that's all left," he said still taking pictures of her as his phone started vibrating.
A call from Sophia, he switched the phone off with a frown as he heard a clap from his back.
He turned back seeing Sophia clapping at his back.
"Nice try Parker, so this is how you've been ignoring my calls and messages?" She said half yelling as he walked to stand beside Peter who was opposite Bonnie.
"Sophia please, don't create a scene here and stop behaving as if you're my girlfriend" he warned.
"Screw you, Peter! Then what am I? Your sex doll?" She yelled at him drawing people's attention.
"Sophia stop, please. People are listening and about the sex, I'm so sorry, it was a mistake" he said looking at Bonnie who wants to throw up now.
Sophia got mad at what he said and threw the tray of food at him as he stood up immediately.
"What's wrong with you?!" Peter barked cleaning his body.
"I'm,... Gonna throw... Oh... " Bonnie struggled as she finally puked all over Sophia's body.
"Oh my God!!!" Sophia yelled as she stared at the slime all over her body.
"You little witch.. what the--"
The people in the restaurant laughed at this as Peter watched too and it was so funny.
"Now that's better," Bonnie said as she hiccuped.
