*Laura Pnt Of View*
"I'm not your father. I never was," he replied casually. His legs crossed and he was relaxed.
"Then who is my--"
"You wouldn't know him. He is married to you mother and they live a bit far from here."
"Didn't they look for me?" I asked surprised. I always wanted to meet my parents but now that I'm about to know them, I feel nothing!
"I doubt that! They have another child. A boy!" That didn't break my heart at all. I'm serious..
"Oh... But you said you loved her!" I said.
"I still do but she chose your father over m he shrugged. I'm glad she did.
"You too have many things in common, like--"
"My hair colour?" I asked and he nodded silently.
"Why are you being so nice?" I asked after the brief silence and he smiled.
"How do you expect me to behave?" He asked.
"I'm just why you are being nice to me. No biggy," I explained and he chuckled.
"You are just like her, even in your situation you are so carefree," he said and I froze.
"And I have to be nice to my future wife! Don't I?" He grinned and I snarled in disgust.
"Eat up. You have a long day ahead of you!" Just like that he was out of the room.
*Third Person's Pnt Of View*
"What can we do?" Kat asked afraid, every one disappeared out of the room except five persons.
"It's all my fault!" Gabriel buried his head in his sorrow and Luke patted his back. "No it's not," Kat assured but he ignored her.
"It is. It really is! If I didn't leave her there or even carried her out. This wouldn't have happened," he sniffed.
"It would have still happened," Sandra spoke up.
"The note said otherwise. It seems like he or she has been watching Laura," she announced.
"Are you sure?" Luke asked and stopped patting Gabriel's back.
"Yeah!" Sandra nodded.
"I agree too," Kat said as they nodded at each other. Mr Howard was stated out of the circle. Let's say he handled Laura's kidnap more serious. He wasn't sorrowfull. He was a type of man who wants all his family at one place, together. Now that's a good catch!!
"Gabriel. It has only been a day and some hours since she was kidnapped," Sandra explained.
"It seems like an eternity!" Gabriel whined, heartbroken. Something in Sandra broke and she seized his hand and forced him to look at her.
"Do you think she would be proud to see you this way. You are a man, so act like one!" She sighed as he relaxed into his chair. Everybody was trying to think positive, be strong. But he was taking it all wrong.
*Laura's Pnt Of View*
It has been three days since I got out of this room, three days since I saw my family and friends... Three days all alone.
"Laura!" I slowly looked up and saw Cody leaning on the doorpost. He locked the door and walked to me.
"I can't see you this way!" He sighed and I looked away, snuggling myself closer.
"My dad wants to start the marriage soon and I don't want that. You are too young," he said and I sniffed.
"And it will be odd to be my step mother," he chuckled. I didn't find it funny at all. Why would I?
"Sorry! I'll find a way to get you out of here. My dad is normally asleep or out around 12 pm," he explained.
"I can get you out. If only you...um...let's say, we get married instead," he blurted and I froze. My eyes stung from the tears. Why do I have to experience this. I wish I was ugly!
It would have been much better that way.
