Eric's POV
"John, did you find anything?" I asked as soon as I went to the office. My facial expressions already turned serious.
"Boss! After investigating Miss Ayesha we found out that she hired some men who followed you from the day you arrived in the city until now!" His information just matches my guess and Ayesha's words.
"Did you catch her men?" I asked.
"Yes, boss!" He responded.
"Did he tell you any other information?" I looked at him.
John understands and nod
"Yes, Boss!"
"One of the men confessed that he was not only eyeing you but he also closely investigated Sir Erish's medical conditions through some random nurse and she helped him to get photos and videos from the madam's house in exchange for lots of money." He explained.
My face turned gloomy to hear his whole report.
"Did you get that nurse?" I asked in deep anger.
"Yes, boss, she admitted her scandal in front of us. After that I informed the hospital about her rule violation and also instructed the police to punish her according to the law," John explained and I feel satisfied. He did a great job.
"Good! You did it right!" I appreciate him.
"Thank you, Boss!" He lightly bowed while again maintaining his straight form.
"John, I want you to change the whole security team for mom's house and also order them to take a close look at each person who comes to mom's place," my eyes staring at him with seriousness.
"Yes, Boss! I'll take care of it!" He responded before leaving the cabin.
I thought about Ayesha for some minutes before getting busy again with office work.
I need to complete my work early. So, I can go home. Today I promised Angela we will have dinner outside.
Angela's POV
Today Erish left for the office too early but he promised me we are going for dinner outside after he comes back home which made me happy and excited.
My mood was good the whole day.
In the afternoon, I looked at all my dresses in the cupboard and finally took out the best one for the evening. I selected his favorite color 'Red'.
After that, I checked on some jewelry and found a matching one with a red piece. I felt satisfied with my selection and then went to read a book after a while.
But suddenly a servant came to my master bedroom door and knocked.
I raised my head and looked at her.
"Yes!"
"Mam, one lady come to meet you!" She notified me.
"Lady?" I looked at her confusedly.
"Yes, Mam! She told me she's your friend!" She reported while I instantly guessed it was Ella, my best friend!" My face lit up the next second and I put down the book.
"Ohhh! Yes, I know her! Where is she now?" I asked her with excitement.
It has been too long to meet her in person. It's good she came here.
"Mam, she's waiting for you in the living area!" She explained.
"Alright!" I nodded and stood up from my bed and walked towards the door.
"You go and prepare some snacks for us!" I instructed the servant while she nodded and went out.
"Yes, Mam!"
After she left, I went towards the staircase with a fast movement and saw a lady figure's back while she's sitting on the couch.
My eyebrows raised to see her back appearance.
I felt her back is a little different and her hairstyle and hair color is also changed.
Did she dye her hair? I thought in my mind but the next second shook my head thinking that it's a normal thing and stepped down.
In a few minutes, I finally went to the couch while my face filled with excitement.
"Ella!!" I exclaimed her name while my smile became wide.
Hearing me, she stood up from the couch and turned to me but seeing her face, my smile faded, and a confused expression instantly took place.
She's not Ella but a different lady whom I didn't know at all.
Seeing her, my face frowned but on the other side, she looked at me with a warm smile and took a step towards me in her high heels. I wanted to ask her who she is but before that, she forwarded her hand towards me.
"Hello, Mrs. Brooks!" She sweetly greeted me.
For a second, I looked at her from head to toe. Her face looks stunning with makeup. The way she carried her regular dress. It looks like she's a high-class lady and the way she talks I don't think she's arrogant at all.
"Hello!" I forwarded my hand to shake hands with her.
Her smile becomes wider.
"Sorry to ask you! But did we know each other?" I asked her gently while maintaining a light smile on my face.
She looked at me and then shook her head while denying.
"No! You don't know me! Mrs.Brooks! But I know about you!" She calmly responded while maintaining a perfect smile.
I raised my brows with curiosity.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked while she was still smiling.
"Actually, I'm your husband's friend!" She explained to me while I got a little confused. I know every friend of Erish but I never saw her. How could that be?
She also noticed my reaction and tried to explain it to me.
"I know, what are you thinking! Mrs.Brooks. Let me explain to you! Actually, your husband and I met abroad and became friends !" She informed me and I was surprised to hear her because Erish never told me about her.
"Mrs.Brooks! I hope now you understand!" She humbly said while I became hesitant about my behavior.
"Ohh! I'm really sorry! Erish never told me about you, that's why I'm just confused! Please come! Have a seat!" I pointed towards the couch while feeling guilty about asking her many questions.
She's Erish friend. I need to compensate her with great hospitality.
"Ohh! There is nothing to be sorry about! Mrs.Brooks! As a wife, It's your right!" She sweetly said which made me smile.
She's too generous and humble. I thought that.
"Thank you, Miss..?"
"Ayesha!" She responded.
"Thank you, Miss Ayesha!" I thanked her for understanding my side.
"Let's sit first!" I added.
"Yeah, sure!" She smiled and we both moved towards the couch.
