AT THAT POINT I bravely met his gaze. I did a few swallows first because I didn't have enough energy. I feel like I'm starstruck by her handsomeness. I almost forgot how to deal with him which I repeatedly sewed in my mind.
"Y-yes... He is now my boyfriend, " I said, refraining from murmuring, my eyes also remained to show that I was telling the truth.
For a moment his gaze remained on me. Then suddenly he pulled away and he chuckled crookedly.
"You see how the words work? They betray your mouth, " he said with disbelief and shot me a look.
I swallowed, lips quivered and my breathing hitched and I'm now shaking. I blamed why I wanted to get out of his arms because at any moment I felt like I wanted to fall.
"I-I have to go..." I painfully said before stepping my feet away.
But before I could turn my back, he quickly turned to face me.
"We're not finished yet, Cherry," he angrily said. His eyes were dark and morbid.
I spoke to stop his attempt to approach. "Please, Rex we don't have a business anymore. Why don't you just let me go? I'm tired of being the second-best. I'm tired of waiting for the right person who loved me unconditionally," I said furiously, letting out a deep exhale.
I tried not to cry but tears forming at the corner of my eyes.
"Just tell me what you feel, not what you think you're supposed to feel," he obeyed. I felt the scorching heat of my cheek and hated how he so effortlessly work his way to defeat me.
I swallowed repeatedly, my tears kept coming back. "Sssh, please don't cry baby, " he whispered before rubbing my two cheeks to gently wipe away my tears.
I raised my hands spontaneously to strike him on the chest. I want to pour in there all the pain caused by this love of mine for him. My tears were gone, he just let me do the same to him until I was exhausted and tired.
"I'm sorry." He caressed the trunk of my hair. "I'm sorry for hurting you this way, and for making you feel unwanted," he whispered, finally he was able to hug me without being as tight.
"I'm so sorry baby..." He repeated.
I firmly bit my lips, repeatedly drawing on me the pain of yesterday. I can't, I can't bear this pain anymore, I violently let go of him and met his eyes.
"Rex, stop! I can't be a part of your life anymore, I've only loved you once, but I think that's enough." I whimpered.
He didn’t answer. I just remained watching how I wiped away the tears that dripped.
"I will never be part of your life again, and I don't think we can easily work this out!" I added with a furious heart.
He stares at me for several beats, seeming to calculate his words before speaking.
"Are you done?"
I was very surprised by what he said, I also blinked at him out of amazement.
He took a big step towards me so I didn’t bother to look up at him. The tears seemed to dry in my eyes. I made a few more swallows but it seemed to clog in my throat.
He slowly lifts up my chin and look intently into my eyes,
"It's my turn..." The words were spoken softly and gave me a level stare.
His dark eyes dropped to my parted lip. I bit my bottom lip to quell the sharp response that begged to slip from my mouth.
I wanted to back off but it was too late. He bowed his head to kiss me, I can't remember what life was like before and after when our lips met.
My pulse is beating fast, it is as if I were about to suffocate. His lips are softer than before... Like sweet and honey or it’s easier to say I miss this kiss.
His kiss inflicts on me more pain than the bees sting. I was completely unprepared. He always surprised me, I was never ready. I'm losing my entire world again. Like ashes, he just blew everything I said. He slowly folded me like paper and watched me in the river after making a boat.
I felt like I was walking on air
it was magic. After that I was addicted, I couldn't bear to be with him. I forget where I'd stand in his life, where I should be. Or if I could still be in his life.
His hand wrapped around my waist. I took strength from his wide shoulder. As he pulled me closer, his hand traveled along to my back, up to my nape, and encircling his hard warm fingers around me.
I opened my mouth and prepared to belt out the scream I could muster.
And suddenly he stopped until he had to pull back and drew breath. He sighed and caught my gaze as he rubbed my two cheeks.
"I don't deserve you... Maybe we don't deserve each other, but I can choose who I love, and I'm choosing you, I want you, in your entirety and I want to love you endlessly," he utters sharply.
My knees weakened even more at what I heard. Fuck! I tremble with the caress of his hand over my waist.
He kissed me again. This time it's getting deeper and warmer. It is already looking for an answer. So I opened my mouth for him to enter his serpent tongue. The silky hot stroke of his tongue is a shot of adrenaline and desire that spike through my body.
I felt the chill as he pulled down the strap of the velvet dress I was wearing. I groan in pleasure, even more so as its warm caress replaces my exposed skin. His hand sweeps up my side, fingers flexing over my ribs. I moan into his mouth and he groans in response.
My fingers curl around his T-shirt, intending to push away, but he doesn't let me. The dress I was wearing just fell freely on the floor. I felt even colder, but eventually, his palm covering my skin skims upwards to the small of my back and flattens molding me even closer.
"Please stop this, Rex..." I pleaded.
He leans in, his eyes flashed with disapproval. He lower himself pressing his lips on my ear "I won't stop until you give everything real," he said with his husky voice.
He hasn't done anything yet, I give up easily, I can't pretend anymore, because I know I have no choice if I make a decision now.
I close my eyes, every muscle in my body tenses in anticipation of his touch. I want this side of him, all of him. I don't think I can stop him anymore. So I pull him to me, flattening his body against mine.
I am wet and weak in the knees. I could feel the intense trembling of my knees. I don't think I have the strength to stand still.
"Rexon," I said with sharp enunciation.
"Yes, baby?" He seemed to know what I meant because he lifted me without warning. Out of great embarrassment, I buried my face in his chest and curls my finger around his neck. I heard a small laugh from the bottom of his damnable lips.
"Look at me." He orders, and as if I have no option. I do as he says. I look at him, and our eyes lock, and his mouth claims mine moaning the taste of him.
He gently laid my back at the bed facing the view. The light is out, the entire bedroom was filled with the curtain-free. It's good that the place we're located is high so I won't worry that someone might be able to see us. Only the sparkling brilliant star witnessed this significant moment.
He easily ripped out his T-shirt in front of me. Unzipping his pants. I swallowed with full force, my eyes remained open, not wanting to omit the important details.
Oh damnit! he is surreal, Rexon is almost naked standing in front of me. I bit my lip sexually, swallowed hard, two legs quivered.
If it weren’t just dark I wouldn’t try to linger looking at him. He stares down at me, eyes glistening in the dark. Searching my face with such intensity it feels as if he's seeing straight to my soul.
