I COULD NOT MOVE, he quickly paralyzed my whole body.
If only the wall I was leaning on could turn upside down. I would do so just to avoid his sticky and dim stares.
"Rex, you were joking right?" I hesitantly looked at him and inhaled sharply.
"No I am not, your eyes said you were feeling it too," he replies. His voice is low and husky.
My shoulders were shaking in silent laughter, tried to sliced the tension between us.
"This is hypothetically absurd." I avoid.
But his face was more serious as he lifted me off my feet. I didn't stop, I grabbed his shirt to steal some strength. I seemed to have forgotten how to breathe because there was no distance separating us.
"How about a kiss? In one kiss, I might know all you haven't sai," he whispered.
"Please, let's get out." My words stuttering from my mouth. I need to be resilient now because if I get emotional I will be the only one to lose.
"Stop trying so hard to deny what is so obvious to see, Cherry," he answered back, while his finger trailed into my hair.
Before I could think of what to say. His lips fell on me. It was slow and softly kissed that sends a chill and yet so hot effects on my body.
I hardly had a moment to react before he pressed his tongue to the seam of my lips. I hugged his opponents. I have an urge to kiss him back, cause 'I was damn completely unprepared.
I want to pull away before I could lose myself, but I can’t. I don’t have the strength to finish what he started.
He pushes me against the wall and adding more pressure. His hand slid smoothly onto my arms and lifting it over to my head. His warm lips were gentle but firm. I moved my hand to the back of his head and my fingers tangling to his dark stonily hair.
When we pulled apart, his forehead resting in mine. My frozen breath mingled with his as we stare at each other. I can feel myself tremble. My pulse is beating fast, my heart throbs wildly.
After a few seconds, he broke away and smiled at me devilishly.
"I just had to do that, even if it is only once," he softly said and caressing my cheek.
"This is insane." I shake my head down. I have a lot to say, I have a lot to ask but nothing comes out of my lips.
Then suddenly he pulled me closer to him and slowly wrapping his arms around me. My heart nearly stop on its beat. I want to control my feelings but I can't stop my feelings for him.
That night my mind was wide awake and feels not in the mode to sleep. I tossed over on my bed while hugging tightly my favorite hotdog pillow. I couldn’t help but flicker a wide smile as I remembered the date Rexon and I had.
"I kinda like you..."
His words are like music that kept coming back to my ear. I know the hope I have now is still dim in the sunlight but I want to convince myself that there is hope that is growing in my heart. Although I’m not sure if what he said is true I already have reason to hold that word.

I took big steps as I walked the sidewalk to the building owned by Nicholas. I woke up late and blamed myself for why I kept thinking about Rexon.
Today I sign a contract with Nicholas company. I glanced at my wristwatch for the last time and just tap my forehead.
"I'm late..." I almost flew the way into the building where the security guard let me in as soon as I was able to introduce myself. Even the woman at the front desk seemed to be waiting for me to arrive.
"Are you, Miss Cherry Banaag?" she looked up at me.
"Yes!" I gave her a miserly smile.
"This way please..."
She accompanied me up to the fifth floor. She knocked a few times on the closed-door before turning it open to enter.
"Mr. President, Miss Banaag is already here," she said politely to the man who was bent over some papers.
He looked up at us before standing up and a wide smile greeted me.
"You have to leave now, Zyra," he said to the woman next to me who immediately complied.
"Good morning!" He immediately greeted me.
"Sorry, I'm late," I said apologetically.
"It doesn't matter, the important thing is you're here. So let us start?"
He turned to me to sit in his swivel chair. Reluctantly, I walked over to his table and sat down quietly at the vacant chair.
"Here's your contract, read it carefully. If you agree to my terms and conditions then sign them. If you want to know something, please don't hesitate to ask me, " he said in front of me.
I followed what he said, I read the letters there and when I was satisfied I immediately signed it.
"Thank you for trusting my company. I will assure you this project will be fun and exciting!"He promised.
He stood up to his chair and quickly raised his hand in front of me. Reluctantly I did the same, I stood up and firmly gripped his hand for a handshake.
"Welcome to T-shirt & Glam Company, I want you to meet some board members and employees here in the building." he softly said, while shaking my hand gently.
"Sure, no problem." I smiled at him.
After I met the board he invited told me to have lunch together. At this point, I knew him better.
At the age of 28, he is already a successful businessman. He enters a variety of businesses. He also works on real estate and it's no joke the extent of the business he has. He already has almost everything and the woman he will marry is also sure that he will not get hungry.
"Ready yourself and your passport, because we're not just here to do photoshoots. If possible around the world, we'll do it." He shows off his white perfect teeth after he says so.
I did not answer immediately. I blinked a few times before I could nod.
"I know, it's kinda different from what is usual. I just want it to have a good outcome, especially since it's your first time with my company, " he confidently said.
I was just let him decide since I cannot believe the opportunity I was getting so I just nodded.
"I don't have the words to thank you." I also bravely grabbed his hand on the table.
I was a bit surprised when he tapped his other hand to mine. "You are most welcome, Cherry." He smiled and teased me.
Alarmed I withdrew my hand from him and just continued eating. I could feel him leaning back in his chair and folding the seat in front of me.
I knew he was watching me all the time and even some of you couldn’t get used to his deep gaze. I did, I sipped the juice from the glass, and I had no difficulty in consuming it. I couldn't stop myself so I looked up at him.
"Mr. Galvez, you won't be satisfied if you just stare at me all day." I also dared to meet those looks.
I heard him chuckled, rested his elbow on the table while crossing his two hands in front of me, staring and gazed intently into my eyes.
I lowered my cutlery and wiped a tissue on my lips before looking at him again.
"What is it all about?" I asked.
I saw his lip lift slightly because of my question. He seemed like he wanted to convey something based on his stares.
"I'm not going to play around anymore, Cherry. I like you." His glare was intense and deeper.
I knew he was watching my reaction so I couldn't help but blush.
"I like you, if you would, I'd like to date you?" he added.
