WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO THERE? "He spoke with a smirk on his lips.
Did I stick to what he said? All this time I haven't talked to anyone behind this door? And looked at this jerk, standing in front of me wearing his innocent look.
"It's you, Jerk!" Courage I say to him. The weeping of his mouth did not escape me.
"Wooh!" His bandmates exclaimed to what I said except for Jeff and Rexon
I raised an eyebrow at him and waited for him to say something but Skye intervened with us.
"Easy guys!" he says.
"We're planning a movie marathon tonight, wanna join us?" Jeff asked me that slowly pouring ice between us.
He stepped closer to me and barely touch my shoulder.
"H-no, I need to go home." I looked straight into Rexon's eyes that suddenly lost the smirk on his lips.
"Unfortunately, we brought pizza and snacks. We also delivered dinner, why can't you eat first?" Jeff's hands reach my shoulder and thumb slowly caressing my bare skin.
"Dude, get off your hands of her." Rexon thundered voice filled in the house.
A heavy silence settled over them, no one spoke. I felt Jeff's grip on my shoulder loosen so I bowed slightly.
"She's my P.A, remember the rules?" he said emphatically.
That’s where my gaze rose to him. His cold dark eyes threatened Jeff.
"What's wrong with you?" Skye punches him in the shoulder.
"I just don't want us to have a problem, you know what I mean," Rexon said to Jeff then measured his gaze before raising an eyebrow slightly.
"I know, we all know the rules. Thanks for reminding me." Jeff replied immediately. Then he laughed next to me as if everything was gone.
It was good that the food they ordered arrived, even though I didn't want to, Jeff and I were willing to stay for a while. I just don't want Rexon to lose to them as if they were in a bad mood after what happened.
I tried to avoid catching his glances, even looking at his behavior I didn’t do. I was sitting uncomfortably in my chair, trying to swallow the food in my mouth.
I just kept quiet while they each had a new story. Some of the women who came with them whose names I don't remember are now next to Jeff and Skye, even Rexon has a woman next to him who is eating pizza too. I felt painfully out of place, like a pepperoni that had mistakenly made its way onto a vegetarian pizza.
"Rex, were we invited to your graduation party?" My attention was drawn to the woman who spoke.
"Of course, Bonnie" Rexon laughs, a deep chuckle that lifting the spirit of the room. So Bonnie is her name?
"Great, you're so sweet," she seductively said. She even slightly tapped Rexon's shoulder who only slightly responded with a smile.
"Dude, how about Dawson? Can't you get in touch? How many weeks has he been gone?" Skye asked him while eating his pizza.
"He texted me," he replied sparingly. He looked down for a moment pouring himself a drink and bringing the alcohol to his lip.
I silently watched what he was doing while not knowing that my heart was beating so fast.
"What did he say? Where is he, then? How about Lara? Is she okay?" Skye asking so many questions.
He smiled cruelly and drank up the glass of wine before he speak.
"That's just hello, he didn't say where he was." Then the glass of wine was dropped on the table.
"Dude, I thought they loved each other? Why did he leave his wife?" Jeff replied with anger.
"If you had admitted that first, Lara and you would end up together. It's obvious that you used to be dead." Zach's words shook.
"He's right, dude! I know her well. Her head over heals those feelings for you. I don't know why she agreed to marry Dawson." I glanced at Zach's girlfriend named Clara.
I looked at him from the corner of my eyes. His eyes were narrowed and cold, behind them was something more intense than normal.
"Guys, there's no reason to bring back the past, the man is married, we can't do anything," Skye muttered.
"Annulment is a trend now," Jeff stated and nodded.
"Shut up, Dude!" Rexon stopped him, he clenched his two-day-stubble jaw and threw him a devil looked.
"Cool down, babe. I have a better idea so you won't be sad." A woman named Bonnie stroked his cheek after he kissed him and then whispered in his ear.
"You're a bad idea, but I like bad ideas," he answered back. I couldn’t help but gasp at the next scene.
They kissed each other passionately. I swallowed the dirty scene but my eyes keep on watching.
I feel like I'm slowly drowning in my seat and my stomach aches big time.
I glance down my head and crossed my two legs under the table. Damn! Why do I need to witness this hurtful movie?
"Let me taste you, we can fuck later." Rexon whispering and turning his head to me. There I bit my lips hard, I didn't think I would be affected by what he said to Bonnie.
"Ah – excuse me, I'll just call home." I quickly got up and went to the veranda to breathe. I even heard Bonnie's soft laugh from the inside.
I held on tightly to the railings and there drew strength. I looked up at the sky. The moon takes its place. I like the nights and the moon. It can easily hide in a dark dish. But why can't I hide this pain? why is it growing and running faster to my nerves?
I shook my head. "Damn, that bastard!" I said before snatching the cellphone from my pocket. I called Dad and found out that Aunt Melva was there with her son Andrew. They allegedly visited my father, who was from another province.
"Dad, maybe I'll be late home tonight, I'm sorry," I say softly.
"It's okay, your Aunt Melva and Andrew are here. It's good that they visited me." The tone of his voice was happy to speak.
"Great, Dad. Please, don't forget to take your medicine before bed." I ordered.
"Eh, don't worry about me, you're the one I'm worried about, be careful when you get home ."
I leaned over again, before answering.
"Yes, Dad." Then I said goodbye to him and went back to leaning against the wall. I was there for a few more minutes and forced myself to calm down, but I straightened up when I felt the sliding door open next to me.
