I got out of him and walked straight back to the dining area. He followed me and sat right next to me something I just ignored.
"Thank you for coming here tonight. We missed your regular visits every morning," said Tita Melva to Rex when we started eating.
"I will visit more often, I've been busy these past few months." He glanced at me first before continuing his food.
"It's fine, your work is more important." Dad refused to take a look at my behavior.
"I don't have a problem with that. As long as I don't have a problem with Cherry..." He kept looking at me so I couldn't help but warm my two cheeks as he openly showed interest to me in front of Dad.
"How about your girlfriend? Wouldn't that make her angry? What's her name again?" Andrew turned to look at me with his eyebrows still slightly raised.
"Ha? Ah..." There seemed to be a blockage in my throat and not a single voice should say.
"Hannah! Am I right brother, Rex?! You were on the TV earlier!" Andrew said spontaneously.
I almost choked on drinking juice because of what I heard. My eyes instantly flew out to Rexon who couldn't speak. I noticed the movement of his perfect jaw before I could have answered.
"Ah, yes, his girlfriend's name is Hannah. I heard she's studying doctrine, am I right?" I said in a jolly way to save my ego.
"Geez, in fairness that girl is beautiful!" Andrew commented that I shot him a sharp look.
Andrew doesn't seem to have any idea about the state of my relationship with Rexon, so even though I'm itching to tweak him, I'm holding myself back and sighed.
"You already have a girlfriend. Maybe Hannah will be jealous of our girl," Tita Melva show her concern.
"Auntie, there's nothing special between Rexon and me, we're just friends." I defended myself, I glanced at my father, who had been silent for a while.
I noticed Rex take a deep sigh before continuing to eat. I also noticed that he didn’t speak again until after dinner.
"Thank you for your visit, be careful while you driving home," I said to her as I led her out of the gate.
He bent down and looked at me, staring at my eyes.
"Get in my car," he said and stepped forward to open the front door for me.
He didn't wait for me to say something because his feet had already stepped into the driver's seat.
Reluctantly, I obeyed and gently fastened my seatbelt. He immediately started the engine and turned on the aircon and kept the light inside the vehicle off but did not turn it on.
My heart beating so fast and thunderous. A few minutes of silence fell between us before he finally glanced at me.
"Is it about Hannah?" He started.
I bit my tongue and looked away. He already got an Idea why I was like this earlier.
"You've been avoiding a conversation earlier and then you'd be acting shit the whole time!" He sounded pissed.
I scoffed, "So I'm the one who did something wrong now? Am I acting shit? What a word, Rex!" I shut him a look that was almost on fire with anger.
Most of the time, I don't understand boys! They caught in the act but they are still angry!
"Those rumors are not true!" His eyes looked more serious this time.
I couldn’t hold his warm stare so I averted my gaze again.
"Hannah is my friend, " he said in a low tone.
"A friend? A friend you brought to Barcelona?!"
I noticed that he was stunned for a moment but also immediately recovered and shook his head.
"Weren't you there to see me! You were there because you and Hannah had a vacation!" I scoffed, "I'm sorry huh? It looks like I disturbed your happy vacation!"
He combs back his hair of frustration.
With tears streaming down my face I turned to look at him one last time.
"You said, you were just friends, but she's with you along the way!"
His jaw started working and featured darken. He became more serious as the look was just ahead.
"Just tell me the truth, Rex..." Tears pooled at the corner of my eyes. Why Is it hard for him to spill it out?
"Just say it!" I yelled.
"Yeah... she did happen before you happened." He admits.
I feel like he also killed my heart with what he said.

I quickly got out of his car but he also quickly followed me.
"Cherry, let me explain." He stopped in my arm.
It was there that I raised my hand to give him a loud slap. Not only that, I pushed him hard to retreat voluntarily to accept what I did.
"You're a whore!" I almost shouted that word at him. Again I watched how he swallowed my words and bear my anger.
"Let me explain, that's not what you think." There was depth in his voice when he spoke to me.
"Bullshit, Rex! Isn't it clear to me what you said? I'm not born yesterday! I'm not a fool to not understand that!" I kept my voice hard even though I knew I was just pretending.
"Hannah is not that kind of woman." His eyes look more serious. I didn’t see any emotion there.
"Oh well, what do you think of me? Your one-night stand? All right, tell me what kind of woman she is, huh?!"
His jaw moved, shook slightly, and combed his hair up.
"I'm sorry—" he said under his lips.
I chuckled. So this is it. He also admitted. Even if let him explain, it's not changing the fact that he had sex with Hannah.
"Fuck you!" That's all I said before I turned his back and quickly ran into the house.
It’s hard to accept that this is how quickly it all ended with us. It's funny because I feel like I'm the only one who believes he is true to me.
Even if I cried, there was nothing I could do.
