HE CARESSED the trunk of my hair. Forehead rested on mine.
"Does it hurts?" he softly asked.
I slowly shook my head. "Hmm, a little bit," I answered back and timidly smiled at him. I feel like my two cheeks are red with shame. I am thankful that the light in his room is not scattered.
He sighed deeply, "I'm sorry... baby." he whispered, caressing my both cheek.
I swallowed, pursed my lips to a bottom one.
"I love you..." he said softly before touching me with a soft kiss on the lips. Our lips moving in perfect sync, lingering and becoming more passionate and calm.
I wish I could extend the night just so I could stay close to him for longer, safe in his embrace.

Darkness still lingered around but my spirit remained awake. I looked at Rexon who was sound asleep next to me. It moved slowly, hands stroking my long black hair, and pulled me into his chest. I smile happily and wrap my arms around his torso and hug him close.
I brushed the strand of dark brown hair away from his face. "I love you," I utter, whispering to the wind.
He did not answer, only deep breaths could be heard.
"You're tired," I say as my arms encircling his waist. Buried my head to his chest. Our breaths are in unison, even the sound of our heart beating simultaneously.
For a few minutes, I fed myself to his wide chest. The gusty wind arrived, sounded like a tickle to my ears which made my hug even tighter.
Everything is still unclear to me. I wonder why he is here and how fast the event is. There are so many running through my mind, I have so many questions that only he can surely answer.
I looked up at him to fail a second time. His handsome face, red lips, and messy hair, I couldn’t help but sigh.
I look at him with melting eyes, all my anger for him seems to have melted away. All the hatred and the pain become altered, and there is nothing left but unconditional love.
I gently stroked his cheek before getting up and picking up my clothes one by one on the floor to quickly get dressed. I still feel the pain in between my legs and my body slightly limped.
I walked out of the living room to call Nicholas. I know this worries me, I don't want to have a problem with him, especially since we are not in the Philippines.
I dialed the number Rexon called earlier, just seconds later someone answered on the other line. I spoke to the receptionist for a while before I was directed to Nicholas ’line.
"Cherry, where are you? Are you okay?! Tell me where you are and I'll pick you up!" he asked sequence on the other line.
My lips pursed into a thin line. The guilt slowly rising in my heart for it. "I-I'm okay..." I whispered, I don't know if he heard my answer.
I heard his deep sigh over the phone so I tightened my grip on the device.
"Where are you? We are all worried about you," he said, voice is now softer and tender.
"I'm sorry Nick, I don't want you to worry, I'm here in a hotel right now," I whispered again, estimating how he would react to what I said.
"Hotel? What hotel? And who's with you?" his voice sounded with curiosity
I swallowed enough to answered back but I couldn't. So I sewed up a reason.
"I-I just met my classmate in college, I didn't refuse so I came along." With my words stuttering from my mouth, I also firmly bit my lips after I chose to lie.
He didn’t speak, I knew he didn’t believe me. "I'm sorry, Nick I know you're worried about me, but I'm okay ."
He exhale sharply, "Alright, where's that hotel and I'll pick you up," he said in a low voice I knew he was angry and just holding back his emotion.
I told him where the hotel was before I lowered the automotive and stepped back into Rexon's room.
He was still sound asleep, I slowly sat on the side of the bed and watched him carefully as he sleep.
My private thoughts made me blush, a scarlet and roasting hot. I feel like his kisses are still on my lips. And my thighs are aching tenderly, enfolding my two legs to ease the pain.
I want to go back to bed so I can just sleep next to him and let the night go on with the two of us.
I want to make up for all the time I let the covetousness of my heart that swallow me up. Loving him from afar is the least I can do. It's better to stay away than stay hurt. Because that's what it should be. That’s the right thing to do but I know I’m just fooling myself because he’s still the one I want to be with, even if the moon blows to love him I’m ready to gamble again.
I lay my body beside him in a curving position. That way I watched him closely. I lifted my head slowly and gaze at his God's like face. His slow breathing seemed like music to my ears, it slowly dissolving the rest of the shabby castle I had built between us.
I slowly move my fingers to his face, gently and carefully caressed it. His brows arch and his lips quivered, I slowly get up so he wouldn’t disturb sleep.
"My fondness for you will never fail, and swore to love you madly, Rex..."
I kissed him again on the lips before leaving him asleep.
