Still grinning, I rose to my feet and buttoned my suit jacket. I moved to her side and kissed the top of her head.
“Anyway, if you need bigger than that. All you have to do is send me a text. I’ll see you in the afternoon.” I walked out and left Kennedy still speechless in her seat.
In the study, my PA Marko was giving me briefings regarding some changes in my schedules when a knock interrupted us.
“I have something I want you to check out. I’ll send the details to you later.”
“Of course, Your Highness. Your dinner in Burkhese tonight. Miss Gilby is expected to be there with your family.” He opened the door. To my surprise, it was my woman, smiling at Marko.
“Be there in a minute,” I dismissed Marko.
“To what do I owe this pleasure, darling?”
She locked the door behind her. “You went inside my room last night?” There was an accusation in her voice and a hint of shyness as well.
“The last time I checked, every room in this manor belongs to me.”
She rolled her eyes. “You know what I mean.”
“Did you like it?”
Pink blossomed on her cheeks. Still, she was the type of woman who never backed down. That was why I loved her. She narrowed her eyes at me. “It’s none of your business.”
“When it comes to your pleasure and well-being, it’s my business, darling. Now, why are you here? If not to kiss me and say take care, my love. I have to go, or I’m gonna be late for my work.”
“That was not mine.” She dropped her gaze, biting her lip. My lips tingled in an urge to capturing those luscious lips.
“The toy?” I was such an asshole, grinning like an idiot.
“Yeah.”
“But you didn’t answer me. Did you come? How many times?”
“You’re insane.” Her eyes burned with anger.
“I told you when it comes to your pleasure and happiness, it’s my duty to fulfill them. Call me insane because I am. Do you know how I felt seeing you fucking naked in bed? If not because of my huge respect for you, I already took you in your sleep and made you come around my cock.” I swallowed. I walked towards her while she took a few stepped back until she hit the door. Her eyes widened, seeing my features darken in her invitation. “Pull your dress up your waist,” I ordered. My voice rasped.
“What?” She panted.
“If you won’t come in less than thirty seconds, I will send you back to the US myself.”
She swallowed hard. Those lust-filled eyes turned into worry and pain.
“All you have to do is let me fuck you with my fingers. That is if you want me. If not, then you’ll stay here with me until I decide what to do to you.” I leaned over. My arms were keeping her caged against the door.
“Thayer.” She bit her bottom lip, turning her head to another side.
“Answer me. Did your toy give you more pleasure than I was between your legs?”

“Um. I’d like to walk down the lawn. If it’s okay.”
I fished out my card from my suit pocket. “Take this. Take Arina with you. Go out, have fun, buy anything you want. That’s unlimited.” I was sure she knew already. “I know you’re bored at home.”
She pushed the card back to me, narrowing those gorgeous eyes at me. “I don’t need your money or card. You don’t have to shower me with gifts or anything. Those won’t make me submit to you. Not ever.”
“Submit to me? What’s that supposed to mean? Do you really think I’m trying to control your life or mold you to be the perfect epitome of my woman? As far as I know, you’re already beyond perfect for me. Your honesty, your boldness, your bravery, that stubbornness, your wit, and your beliefs? Those are what made me fall for you. And I won’t change a thing about you.” There you go. I said what I said. I hope this would clear things up—my real intention towards her.
“It’s okay with you to date a commoner?”
“You should know the answer to that by now. And to me, you’re not a commoner.” I sighed. I wanted to say more, but I was fashionably late. “I really have to go.”

In the afternoon, I had texted Marko to inquire about the item I wanted to purchase. I had not told anyone about my plan. I’d never been scared like this, but I was not confident that I would succeed either.
I arrived at the chateau in Burkhese.
“I thought you’re not gonna show up, brother. How’s your day?” Carlott kissed me on the cheek.
“Productive. How about you?”
“Fun. Kennedy is already here with Mother. They get along quickly. Glad you have good tastes in a woman. Otherwise, I would turn into an evil sister-in-law.”
I arched my eyebrow. “Sister-in-law? Aren’t you a little too optimistic?”
“Oh, trust me. She would marry you.”
“We’ll see about that, considering how she kicked me out every night.”
She held her laugh. I quickly saw the glint in her eyes before she was gone.
“So it’s yours then? Your idea, I mean.”
“What is it?” She played innocent.
“Come on, Carlott. Admit it.”
She rolled her eyes. “Fine. But I know how you can replay her back.”
I shook my head. “I won’t do something stupid like you.”
“Trust me, brother. Since when did I let you down? Tell me.”
I pursed my lips and thought profoundly. “What do you have in mind, my dear, evil little sister?”
