Speaking of fruits, I just realized that none of the ones growing here were common in this world. The system notified me that my realm was created based on my knowledge of land from my previous life. That meant all the fruits and trees here were actually from my past world.
But there was a problem—there were too many fruits, and some had started rotting away. That’s when I realized my realm lacked proper world-building and an ecosystem.
The only animals present were birds and fish in the rivers—nothing else. Without insects or fungi, the rotting fruits were taking too long to decay, causing a slightly stagnant scent in the air.
So, I had to modify my realm into a properly balanced ecosystem.
I introduced all kinds of animals: insects, herbivores, omnivores, and even predators. Yes, even carnivores like lions. Now, my realm wasn’t the safest place, but at least it was balanced.
Without predators, the herbivores might overpopulate and consume too much vegetation. If left unchecked, the entire realm could be overrun by them. But with predators thinning their numbers, everything would remain in harmony.
Hopefully, I was making the right call.
With these sudden modifications, I had to inform everyone.
At present, after a full day of city-building, we had managed to complete half of it—thanks to Rin’s massive magical reserves and unmatched skill in geomancy. Of course, I was also contributing by constructing infrastructure like shops and pavements while she focused on the more complex buildings.
The plan was to create at least 50 households.
Exhausted, we gathered in the largest house—my house—to eat together.
"So, everyone," I broke the silence. "Listen up. There are now wild animals roaming around. So whatever you do, be careful."

"Yes," I replied. "Isn’t that great?"

"Afraid of wolves, huh?" Adrian commented from the side, adjusting his glasses. "Typical behavior of an alley cat."
Tama shot him a dangerous glare. Using shadow teleportation, she instantly appeared behind him and struck him hard across the face, sending him crashing to the floor.
"Call me an alley cat again, and my punch will be the last thing you ever see," she warned before huffing and returning to her seat.
Groaning, Adrian stood up, dusting off his fine clothes. "Oh, look at that! Now I’ve got fur on my shirt, thanks to a certain someone in a maid outfit," he muttered before moving to sit far away from Tama.
I sighed. "Alright, chill out, you two. Adrian, eat up, dude. It’s time for us to go—my mom’s probably worried sick about me right now."
The girls lowered their gazes, clearly saddened. They didn’t want me to leave—they wanted me to stay the night. But I had to go home and rest.
Because tomorrow, I had other plans.
That’s right—I’d be visiting Seraphina to gather intel on the location of the second part of the Key of Ascension.
After dinner, Adrian and I made our way home.
When morning came, I jolted awake before anyone else and headed straight to the Divine Church. Upon arrival, a knight greeted me and told me to wait while she informed the Priestess of my presence.
A few minutes later, the knight returned and instructed me to go to the Priestess’s room.
Reaching the door, I knocked gently.
"Come in," came Seraphina’s soft voice.
I stepped inside to find her still sprawled out on her comfy bed.
"Morning!" I greeted from the doorway.
"Hey, Asher," she murmured, her voice drowsy. "Come closer."
I approached, and she gestured for me to sit beside her. Her sleepy face and messy hair made her look surprisingly endearing.
"You’re here awfully early. Is there a problem?" she asked.
I pulled a necklace from around my neck and showed it to her. Her eyes widened in shock.
She jolted upright, kicking her blankets away.
