Caroline started feeling restless all of a sudden. She could sense that something wasn’t right.
“Mamma!!” Artin’s words diverted her attention. “Stories, pleaseeeee.”
“Then you will sleep, right?”
“Yes,” Artin said, nodding his head.

‘She is not my mate.’ Artemis kept telling his mind and stepping behind the fake Caroline. At the same time, she was walking toward him with a smirk on her face. Immediately he stumbled and fell on the couch.

Artemis turned his face in another direction in anger because her touch was doing the job of acid.
‘Sarah, help me!! Please.’ He mentally cried and cursed why he had an argument with her. Now, he could understand it wasn’t about the trust but… with her magic; she was also connected with him.
“I knew you would not let me touch you in your sense and feel disgusted. That’s why I brought the solution of it.” No matter how hard Artemis tried not to let her inject that drug into his system, he failed miserably. By the time the drug started working, Isabella had started working on erasing his memories. She wasn’t very sure that she would be able to do that because Artemis was marked by a witch, and as much as she knew, no other witch could control anyone’s mate who had already marked a witch as long as the other witch would be stronger than the previous one.
Isabella had been trying to control him for the past five days, but every time, every time her spells didn’t work on Artemis.
