“Okay. Wait. Wait!” Sophia asked in confusion. “You mean to say that these strong and beautiful wings are angelic because she has an angel’s blood in her. “Do you know anything about Sarah’s real parents?” Artemis asked.
“Except the part that they left her? NO.” Brandon responded. “How does your mother connect with Caro’s real parents?”
“I don’t know about it,” Artemis muttered cluelessly. “But I do know that if I will come to know about anything, then Sarah will come to know about it too.”
“So, will you lie to her?”
“No. I will ask her to give me some space instead of pushing me to speak the truth.” Artemis answered, and Brandon hissed at his failure again because every time Artemis was proving himself that he was the best choice for any parents for their daughter. “And the best thing about her is that she doesn’t push or nag me to tell her everything at the same moment.”
Caroline was looking at the moon and stars! Everyone was relaxed and went to their bed peacefully, but she was having a hard time sleeping peacefully because she was waiting for her father and her mate. That was why she was sitting in the garden and looking at Artin, who was enjoying by sitting on spring Rider. When they were kids, Calvin wanted a playground in the Mansion, so Brandon had built a small playground for all the kids. Even though they grew up, he left that playground there because it had held a lot of their childhood.
“Artin!! No,” She shouted when she saw him going toward the climber. She quickly reached near him. “Climber is for a big baby.”
“Come here!!” She said, grabbing his wrist. “We will sit on a see-saw, okay?” Saying this, she made him sit on the see-saw and asked him to hold it tightly, walk together it and press the other side with her hand. Artin giggled when he started going upward.
A few moments later, Artin started yawning while playing, Caroline took him inside the Mansion, and that was when she saw that she wasn’t the only one who was awake.
“Mom, I’m now feeling worried,” Caroline said, caressing Artin’s back. “I’m not able to reach Artemis by using my magic.”
“Don’t worry. He will be here any moment.” Sophia replied. “Give my grandson to me. I will keep him tonight.”
“But mom…. He doesn’t stay with anyone else for longer.”
“And he is ruining his habit by keeping him with you all the right. Let him interact will other people, too; in that way, he will learn that the people around him also love him, and he can trust them. Of course, you will be special, but don’t keep near him all the time.” Sophia said, taking Artin from Caroline. Since he was feeling sleepy, he wrapped his hand around Sophia’s neck. At the same time, they heard the horn of Brandon’s car. “Told you,” Sophia said with a smile.
“Does your smile mean YES?” Caroline asked. Sophia didn’t answer her, just smiled widely before speaking.
“Enjoy your night.” Saying this, she left from there with Artin.
After a while, both Brando and Artemis walked in together.
“Good night, Princess!! Good night, Artemis.” Brandon said, walking directly toward his room.
“Good night, dad!!”
“Good night, dad!!” Artemis said, widening Caroline’s eyes.
‘Didn’t dad ask him to call Mr. Haysbert.?’ She wondered, and the realization hit her like a train.
“Oh my god!! You’re drugged.” She muttered and started dragging Artemis to the room.
“Drugged? No. I’m not drugged.” Artemis tried to explain.
“Have you ever heard a criminal admitting that he is a criminal?” She asked, dragging him quickly toward the room. Artemis wanted to clear her doubt, but Bolt stopped him and was clearly amused by his mate’s reaction. Caroline quickly walked into her room with Artemis and locked it. “Now I get it why Mom was saying that I should enjoy the night and take Artin with her.”
“Really?”
“Yes. And she also gave me medicine because of which I couldn’t get pregnant for three months. In the effect of drugs, you might be feeling horny but don’t worry; I’m here to help….”
Artemis slammed his lips against her, making her shut her mouth; breaking the kiss, he spoke, “I’m not drugged, Regina. Dad didn’t drug me. I’m all right. It’s just that he took my test in order way, and I passed it with flying colors.”
“So, does that mean you’re not feeling horny?” Caroline asked, and all of a sudden, her excitement and the tingles between her thighs stopped.
“Who said that? We don’t need drugs to feel horny because you’re my drug.” Bolt said, pulling her closer to him. "We will have you my whole night, Mate."
