Leila's pov.
I hate the sound of the birds chirping in the morning. Like heck! Don't they know that I am asleep and they shouldn't distract me?
I stretched my hand to the bed table so that I could see what time it was.
9a.m
"Still early."
I woke up and closed the window to prevent the sound and drew the curtain to prevent the sun rays from liting up my room then went back to sleep.
After some hours.
"Idiot, you are sleeping like a pregnant bitch. Can you wake up," I heard a voice but it was far away, therefore I couldn't tell whose voice it was.
"I swear if you don't wake up now I will pour cold water on you."
"Can't you tell that I am sleeping so that you can disturb my sleep? If your bed is wet and that's why you are waking me up then get on the other side and we sleep," I said in my sleep.
"Did you just insinuate that I peed on my bed?"
"No, Sherlock. Did you hear me say your name? I don't even know you dumbass. But since you have already said that it is you then at least I know you are still a little baby who pees on themselves at night."
"I…I saaaiiid that you should get the fuck up," the voice shouted.
"No and shut up," I said aggressively as much as I could since I was still sleepy.
"Marcus, didn't I send you to wake Leila up?" I heard a voice which I could recognise as my sister's, Elana.
Wait! Is she the one who sent someone to wake me up? Did she just say Marcus?
Aaaargh.
"What the hell. I just assigned you one simple job but you can't do it correctly. Why is she still asleep?" she asked angrily.
"Do you think that I haven't tried waking her up? I have tried too many times but can you guess what she has just told me? She has said that if my bed is wet that I should just join her in her bed so that we can sleep," he said.
"What?" Elana said, trying her best to prevent a laugh from evading.
"Are you laughing at me? Do you think that that is funny?" he asked angrily.
"No, I am not laughing at you," she said.
"Honey, can you please wake up?" she asked in a low and soft voice.
"Just go away, Elana. I don't feel like waking up," I said sleepily.
"You need to wake up. We have to get you ready. Or don't you want to go see your mate?"
"I want to see him. That is for sure. But there is still time. We are supposed to go 5p.m then arrive 6a.m since that is the time the party is starting," I complained.
"What time do you actually think it is?" she asked.
"How do you expect me to think when I am asleep? Of course, my brain is also asleep and resting," I said.
"I wonder when did you start being stubborn."
"It's 4 now so you have an hour to get ready," she said.
Wait! 4? As in 4 p.m.?
Hearing and confirming that, I got out of my bed and ran to the washroom and locked the door.
"What has just happened?" I heard Marcus ask.
"Why are you asking me? Aren't I here with you?" Elana said and I knew for sure that she was rolling her eyes.
"Can the two of you get out of my room? I am taking a shower. Elana, I will call you to do my makeup so haste and leave," I shouted enough for them to hear me.
"Let us leave before she completely loses her mind," Elana said.
"Don't think that I have forgotten what you have told me, Leila. I will find you and avenge," Marcus said and I couldn't help asking myself what I did this time round.
"You told him that his bed is wet," Eyla said.
"What do you mean his bed is wet, I don't see anything wrong with that sentence!" I said.
"Think harder, idiot," my wolf said.
I tried thinking but to me, there was nothing wrong with it. I heard Eyla sigh and I knew that she was disappointed in me.
"I never knew that you were this stupid."
"Hei, can you stop telling me that I am stupid. You ain't have to remind me about facts," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Are you going to tell me or not?" I asked angrily.
"Okay. Fine. I will tell you. By that sentence, you insinuated that he peed on himself when he was afraid."
"What! Aaargh. You guys aren't serious. Can't any of you think like me? A baby?" I said while smirking.
"That's not funny," she said making me roll my eyes
"You continue not finding it funny while it is funny. I know that you and Elana we're laughing!" I said with a giggle.
"Can you keep quiet for goodness sake? Just hurry up, I want to see, mate," she said happily.
I remember when they were playing and I know for sure that she missing that too.
I showered and later got out. I have already taken a bath but I don't have a gown to wear. I wrapped the towel around my small figure and got out of the bathroom and out of my room.
"Elana," I shouted when I was in the corridor cause I didn't want to go around the house without undergarments and a towel only.
"I am here," she shouted back.
"But I can't see you."
We shouted for a long time till I was tired of the nonsense.
"Aaaah, just come and give me the dress I am supposed to wear and do my makeup," I yelled.
"Jeez, Elana. Why can't you fulfil your wish? I am sure that if she continues yelling, I may end up being a deaf person," Marcus said, making me roll my eyes.
"Idiot."
I walked back to my room and waited for Elana patiently even if patience isn't one of my virtues.
"Sorry. I am late. Sit down and let me do your make-up before you wear the dress," she said and I sat down so that she could finish quickly and also to avoid arguments.
After she was done, I picked up the gown which was neatly placed on the bed and went to the closet so that I can wear it. It was so beautiful and I knew for sure that it will do justice to my small future and face. With the help of Elana, in no time, we were done and sauntered out of the room and went downstairs.
"Ladies, you took a lot of time there. I was even wondering whether a vampire got into our house."
"Marcus," both Elana and I shouted in unison.
"No need to behave like one," he said, earning a glare from both of us.
Walking out of the house, we found the alpha, luna and their son waiting for us. We said a little hello before getting in our car and drove off without waiting for the approval of the alpha.
"Are you crazy? Why didn't you wait to be given permission to start?" Marcus said.
"No need to worry, mate," Elana said, then winked at her, making me laugh out loud.
"Leila, we are off to see your mate. How do you feel?" She asked me to stop laughing and stay emotionless.
