Third POV.
The girls and Marcus looked at the old woman as if she was crazy. They have been standing while invading Boston’s mind for a long while thus they are tired and want to rest.
“Why are you looking at me with those eyes? You wanted to learn and we are teaching you. Don’t expect that we will go easy on you or give you a lot of time to waste,” the woman said as she looked at them with questioning eyes.
“We aren’t wasting time. We just want to rest. Please do understand,” Marcus said, making the girls nod their heads while the woman shook her head.
“Children, do you think that wiping off everyone’s memory will definitely take a lot of time? If you want to keep resting after every lesson then we might be pleased to grant it to you but don’t expect to finish what your grandma asked you to do by tomorrow evening,” Tabby said with a worried look on her face as she knew how tiring any procedure was.
They looked at her dumbfounded but did not think she was lying because Tabby did not have any reason to.
“So, what should we do?” Leila asked with a frown without directing it to anyone.
“What you should really do is, preserve till you are taught everything. Since you girls are quick learners, if you all go with that speed. You might know everything you need to know about the mind by evening. Also, if you finish earlier than expected you might be taught how to invade a lot of people’s minds at the same time,” the old woman said seriously but her words made the family of three want to know everything and as soon as possible.
“Okay, we will try our best not to get tired and energise our body,” Elana said with a smile on her face, making the old woman nod at her.
“Lucy, teach them about deletion of one’s memory but what are you willing for them to see and for it to be deleted in your memory since you have to teach them as they practice?” The old woman asked the woman who had already stood up and walked towards the three.
The woman called Lucy frowned upon hearing the question as she didn’t want anything in her mind to be deleted but after sometime, the frown vanished as she had made a decision. Without seeing any reason to tell the old woman what would be deleted in her mind, she looked at the three people in front of her and sized them up.
“You have been taught by Boston a lot of things. Even though I don’t want to waste any time here, I won’t open my mind and let it seem like a free book which you may get in and out as you please. After all, most of the time, the enemy's mind is always locked up and you have to break into it thus you will also do the same to my mind. Be careful and remember all of Boston warnings cause a single mistake and you can cause damage to not only your own brain but also your family as you all will be in my mind,” Lucy said, making the girls nod their heads.
This time, they did not close their eyes as they wanted to see what will happen around them when getting into someone’s mind.
After some few minutes, they nodded their heads to Lucy making her smile at them and feel proud of them.
“Since it will be impossible for you all to delete the same thing in my mind as it may cause memory loss to any of you as you will be fighting against each other, I want each of you to delete different things on my mind at the different time then after afterwards at the same time,” she said.
“Marcus, I need you to look for a scene where I was lost in a forest while hunting. There are different moments like that but I want you to determine which one I want. Elana, I need you to find a memory when I was cooking with my sister at our home. The same goes to you, determine what I need you to select. Leila, look for a scene where I was walking from the cliff to the river. Of course, all of these scenes are many but I want you to concentrate on the one you think I am instructing you. Don’t only concentrate with your mind but also emotions.”
“When faced by an enemy and you want to launch an attack from inside or find something. You never know what it looks like, you just have an idea just like you do now. There will be similar scenes but you will need to find the right one quickly. Now, when you are done, please inform me.”
Moments later:
“Since you have now decided on the one you think that is likely to be what you are looking for, I need you to bring forward the whole scene. From the moment it started to its end. After doing that, try taking the scene by force but make sure not to alarm the person. One shouldn’t know when you are in his mind. Just like when controlling but I won’t be the one teaching you that. By taking it, you can squeeze the memory till it is in bits but in a small ball. When you succeed in doing that, transfer it on your mind if that is what you wanted.”
“When finding something useful to you and you think the owners might use it to harm you, it is never necessary for you to just download and leave it there, you can take it to your brain while the memory in that person’s will is missing. If you don’t want to, you can delete it, just like you delete everything or break it. You may opt to break it into tiny pieces but that is never recommended because the owner might later take the broken pieces and mend them.”
“When deleting, delete it permanently. Assume it is your phone that you can control and delete. After deleting it, you can go back and try finding it so that you can know whether you’ve succeeded or not.”
